I don't think that would happen unless there was some connection or possible reaction/chain reaction from the core story that's occurring inn the main storyline place (England or whatever it's GoT analogue is called) to make it more meaningful. Otherwise following her progress would simply be a gigantic waste of time. While The Red Wedding might have seemed like they just set something up and then pulled the plug for shock value, there's actually a lot of interesting after effects and shockwaves, power voids and revenge plots to be explored in the aftermath. If Daenerys died, there's not yet enough threads entangling her to make it a meaningful death. I am dying for season 4. Season 3 was awesome. Although with how they kill of characters. I fear every season that Daenerys will bite the dust.
