Might be more info coming out about their gaming strategy since Totoki taking over now. Whether that be more PC games coming or porting to other consoles for live service games or more acquisitions etc.

Commitment to day 1 launch on PC and then sooner or later select games to other consoles.
Only if they are spending money on microtransactions while playing it, MS pays MLB for the show to be on gamepass, Sony isn't going to be putting their own games onto the service and people who play MLB on PS5 actually pay full price to play it lol.
I know the bungie games will come out on xbox they've already said that but it's going to be few and far between as far as anything else, there doesn't seem to be any rush to put helldivers 2 on xbox, this is where the Activision being separated out of the xbox game studios numbers gives you more context, their console isn't selling and their other games aren't bringing in money either so why invest in that platform all that much if they are your competitor?
You'll see a lot more xbox games going to PlayStation than the other way around. Xbox doesn't have anywhere near as many consoles sold and people don't buy enough games on the platform. PC yes you'll see all the GaaS titles day and date on PC (and maybe a couple on xbox) I still don't think they'll do the single player stuff day one simply because they want people to keep buying consoles. They may shorten the wait for bigger games but I don't believe it'll be day 1.

Yeah the number of players is almost meaningless if they aren't spending money on the game afterwards. They tried talking up how many people played starfield yet it sold under 3 million copies by the end of the year. Who cares if 10 million played it if you barely made any extra money off of them doing it.
It isn’t like player engagement is any sort of critical metric, highly valued by Sony in particular as noted in a recent meeting.

Depends. How well does it sell on PS compared to how much guaranteed money they get from Game Pass?
Who's buying the Stubs which will be what brings in the most money.
More people playing on Xbox means more people to buy said Stubs.
Whatever the game was getting wasn't enough for the MLB who forced Sony to make it multiplatform.
And yeah, Sony are focused on player numbers than sales now. Ohhh following MS again.
I doubt MS is paying Sony more than Sony makes by selling the game.

No the MLB wants the license/brand on more platforms is why it is.

If they follow MS the console division will be dead like Xbox.
Maybe they need to like ms did to Apple, they didn’t want to be the sole company therefore by default a monopoly

3rd party,closing or selling the brand is going to happen as the bleeding is to much and MS wants that money.
Just wait. First comes all games going day 1 on PC then they will follow Xbox and port older games elsewhere. The market isn't built for exclusivity due to budgets.
Nintendo will be the only all out first party hardware maker because they don't pressure themselves with said budgets.
Sony are already 3rd party if we are using the same reasons people do for Xbox. Buying Bungie saw to that.
Plus all the gossip that Helldivers 2 is getting an Xbox version.

With the s*** sales,s*** PC gamers give them plus pirating I very much see them running out of patience.
As far as the elsewhere statement from you... that would be healthy markets so we know who's not included.

The workers can say whatever they want to say. Sony is the daddy.
