I got a car on the roll. I love how VIP doubles the credits on the roll...worth the extra money IMOHA!!

I think cars are only doubled in Gran Turismo

I had to wait until I got to the point where I could actually buy cars. Once there, I could finally download all the day one, launch, and and VIP / pass cars.
I didn't get the car for playing the demo though, did anyone?
VIP was working for me as intended. I like the whole "roll" thing you do when leveling up. Haven't gotten a car yet though!
I enjoyed seeing Jeffy and TD get smoked on my very first race.
To be fair, my friend played my first race.
Nice, I believe I just received 220,000 credits, looks like they gave me credits for playing old Forza games but I only played the first Horizon, I dont like sim racers.
I cant decide if I want to do VIP or not, is it worth it? Are the cars good and unique or are there similar ones in game already?
The car pass DLC does not include VIP correct? I am so torn if I want to get either one of these? For those of you that have one or both what do you think?

Car Pass does not include VIP. I bought the VIP for the VIP crown status next to my name and the double XP. The extra cars are just a bonus to me. Don't get me wrong, I love cars (I am a car fanatic), but the game comes with 211 cars, play DAY ONE car pack, and I will never drive 50%+ of those cars. In addition to the VIP double XP, you get VIP special events to race in that others do not...and they give VIPs custom paints and cars throughout the life of the game, randomly.
I don't have a lot of gaming time, so the double xp is beneficial for me.
Yeah the double XP is making me want to do it, I dont game all day like some people and I want to be able to buy nice cars quick. The 5 cars that come with VIP arent a huge selling point since there are so many cars already in the game unless one of these cars are very unique and bad ass. Maybe ill do it for the double XP and the exclusive events but ill probably pass on the car pass for now unless someone convinces me other wise
As previously mentioned in the F5 thread, I vastly prefer the view from the hood of the car. It can be problematic when driving through a field though, as you can't see much of anything from that view! Wish you could quick link a couple views to the pad or something.
I see no complaints about that terrible bug, surprises me. When you guys go for a walk with the dog or just a short break...you just turn the console off then? Cause as soon as that controller is off an you turn it on again, you're f***ed. Unless you got Kinect, you can then quit the game.
I did the VIP thing. I figured double XP would be great for me since I have too many games in my rotation so its best to level up as fast as possible. I'm not sure I'll get the car pass right away. This game has so many cars as it is that I'm not hurting for something cool to drive. It would have been nice to have the day 1 car pack and preorder car download automatically, it was a little bit of a pain scrolling through the car list to find them.
I did my first online road trip and it was a blast. It wasn't bumper cars like I thought it would be. And I came in second place which is great for me. Get the car club going so I can join.

I always turn the console off when I'm not playing so I doubt I'll ever run into the bug you described. It just doesn't seem normal to me to keep the console on if I go out for a few minutes. The console boots up so fast that I don't see the point.
I haven't noticed a quit option while in the game which is weird. So to quit I bring up the menu and then go to the dashboard and then quit the game app. My progress seems to be saving so I guess its no big deal.
I haven't had it happen to me YET, but I guess it could happen. I left mine on when I went to the movie yesterday, and left it on this morning too long with a controller disconnect and it was fine. I have read others have had this issue though.
It especially boots up very fast with Instant on, but this feature has been rendered useless for FH2 for me, cause when the console goes into Instant on..the controller goes off, and then....i am f***ed.
Consider yourself very lucky then. This and the demo truly are the only things giving me this problem.
Wow, that sucks. I do have Kinect and use that instant-on feature for quick boot-up. But you have me curious and I want to test out what happens if I turn off my controller and then sign back in while in the game.

I know zombies are a big cliche these days, but I'd love to see a zombie mode in a game like FH2. I think it'd be fun for a spell.

Thanks for that I had forgotten about that after I got 4mil on FM5. Cashed in a nice 600,000 for FH2.
I'd like to get all the Union guys playing on my FL and join the club. My GT= Oblong.
This game is awesome in soooo many ways. Best next gen game thus far on either system IMHO.
