The Xbox Onesie

Didn't Spencer say in another interview that Black Tusks was making major progress on Gears?

I thought so too man, but then i read the article and basically he said BT was making major progress on their current project. Maybe some sites automatically assumed it was Gears? I am a bit confused now. :)

I'm pretty sure he answering a post regarding Gears of War collection being made in 3D. Although it hasn't been officially announced it was leaked by Shinobi on Twitter. The next Gears has been officially announced like you said and is being made by Black Tusk but he wasn't referring to that.

this sucks. DDOS again? If so, they've GOT to figure out a security measure for this, or at least find these losers and put them in a small cell with Bubba for the rest of their lives.

Merry Christmas.

what really sucks -- and this is on Microsoft -- is that you can't even play single-player games without being signed in on your account. I was looking forward to jumping into NBA2k15, but unable to play it. Can't blame the attackers for that crappy policy.

I'm not one to do much cursing, especially on Christmas, but I'm ready to go full Samuel Jackson. Phil Spencer has got to be wondering what he got himself into about now.

DDOS attacks are EXTREMELY hard to deflect, it's not that easy to protect against. Nearly impossible.

People should hold on jumping to conclusions... regular server load is a more likely explanation. Think of all the people getting consoles and games today and all plugging them in, updating, etc.

Many of those holiday bundles sold are just hitting Live for the first time today.

So basically MS wasn't prepared for something they knew was coming?

Guess not being near my X1 until this weekend is a good thing. Hopefully by the time I'm ready to jump in, everything will be in tip top shape.

so much for playing in offline mode for Xbox one as well. it will not work for me. my girlfriend just left to go see her family with the kids and I have a golden opportunity to play so this figures.

I was online. No problems and talking to a friend of mine. Then for no reason Dragon Age closed itself, back to Xbox Home. I then tried to start the game, but it stayed at the screen with the soldier and dragon and then i received an error from Xbox itself about this error code:

0x87dd0019

They told me to go to www.xbox.com/errorhelp and search that code, but nothing came up. For 15 minutes i could not start up Dragon Age, not even after a full reboot. I tried GTA V, got the same error...but it did run, i could play the game. So were these Dragon Age problems NOT thanks to this attack? Cause now i am playing it, but the DA an EA servers are offline.

Funny thing is I can get online but can't log in. No biggie. Got other things to do anyway.
