If there are issues, I highly doubt they'd be any more different than "issues" than any console or device would face at launch. Heck, the Wii U had "issues" when it first launched. Didn't mean they weren't easily handled.

And the Xbox One does background patches without ever having to go through the normal process. They can pretty much change things on the fly.

Hey, now, that's not entirely fair. There's not 100% correlation between good XB1 news and FUD being launched.

Occasionally, bad PS news leads to FUD instead.

What you're saying is no different than what the GAF'ers are saying.

Neither of you have evidence to back up your claims.

I never said the XBL 'botch' was true btw.

If more 'advanced' means more 'stable', I would have taken this rumor with a grain of salt. But you know that 'advanced' usually means taking it to the next level, making possible what was impossible. You know that's more about XBL this time. PSN does what it has been doing (at least for now). It's XBL that tries to do a lot more from launch.

Why would it have to regress? Why couldn't it just not be ready in time?

You seem to think the negative things that are coming out about the xbone are reactive when that is hardly true. They filter out as they do because of strict NDA's and people fearful for their jobs. They are leaked when they can be. They aren't bulletpoints to combat other bulletpoints.
 
The rumors going round claim both the PS4 and X1 are not ready from a software stance.

Why is it people are only upset about the X1 claims?
 
Silence is not confirmation, it means nothing. In fact the most logical reason for silence is them not feeding the trolls. Seriously, its BS rumour after BS rumour, they have better things to do than placate every twitter/GAF troll, they'd rather just let them argue amongst themselves and wait until the console launches in less than a month.

What I don't believe is that it is a horrible buggy mess that the tweets and people are saying. no way. it will be ready in time to perform well. the features that won't, they can disable prior to launch and have them re-enabled later.

What my argument is, is the internet masses that are XB1 haters, instantly start spreading BS rumors that it is a buggy, craptastic XBL experience, or that MS is rushing to market. I would think the largest online community in the world would have a couple of things to hammer out post launch, sure, but three weeks out? BUGGY MESS? nope. Maybe on dev kits, but they might not be rocking the last version of the software either.

Guess a more valid point would be, why should anyone be allowed to spread negative news as it relates to dev kits since dev kits are not retail products? It is complaining for no reason because they act and operate almost completely different from retail. I have playtested on MANY dev kits... they do act different.

honestly i haven't read about PS4 not being ready. The only thing I have seen is people are seeing it overheat when they seal the system in plastic boxes LMAO Another stupid attempt at FUD. OF course it will overheat.

Whilst that makes sense to me, theoretically silence could also be an admission, do you agree at least in a theoretical scenario?

I want you to understand that I'm not saying it's true, just that a corporation could try to conceal something because money is at stake here.

I'm skeptical but at the same time I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because if he's lying he's going to get his ass handed to him for the rest of the new console generation, so I assume he's telling the truth although the speed in that video is hard to swallow (but I'll happily accept it if my X1 works that quickly).

I am guessing, depending, we will see a slight stutter at times... but I am betting the three OS's are capable of doing exactly what they propose.

I will find out in less than a month
 
I can't stand Albert Panello's doublespeak. It is insulting. It's an excellent representation... No one wants to see representations a month out from launch.

Silence can be an admission, or it could be a way to stop rewarding pissants who ask you if you're still beating your wife and only let you answer yes or no. ;)
