You've noticed it, too, that for a lot of Sony and/or anti-MS fanboys, it's just so supremely important to them for Sony to win the generation before the consoles even launch. It was over at E3, it's over because of those yield issues and downclocks they'd cause, because of the NES-caliber graphics of the XB1, because of TVTVTVKINECTSPORTS, because of QTEs or whatever else has become the canard du jour. It's a shame that they think so little of what Sony is doing that they wrap up their enjoyment of the next gen of console gaming in campaigning for the crashing and burning of MS. I dunno. I'd like to think they'd be excited about KillZone or Knack or...

...oh. Well, yeah, I guess it makes some sense. :smash::crazy::360:
Right! Whats NOT to love about Knack?! ;) lol

home address I have no idea. Birthdate I suspect for legal reasons, like they can't do certain things with your info if you are under a certain age?
Becouse the NSA isn't happy with just your phone and labtops cameras spying on us they need our address and date of birth so they can verify who they are spying on, duh.

Just wondering if you've read your terms of service with any other company, whose service you receive? Are these terms drastically different?

3rd parties on my console need to know my home address and dob? Na I don't share that with other services...

Maybe things are different in the US, I don't know. Most of the services mentioned at the source are not even available to XBL Australian customers...

DoB could be for targeted marketing purposes. If someone is under 18 not providing them with M rated content recommendations and such.

Home address....no clue.

PDP Adds Privacy Screen to Kinect Stand

ROFL who would buy this?

One of Microsoft Xbox One Accessories manufacturer PDP has announced a new stand for your Xbox One Kinect sensor, that comes with a privacy screen, interesting new feature. The stand works some what like that, when you place the stand on top of your TV and slide over a screen, you will prevent the RBG and IR cameras recording or show you to ” scary people.” Though if your lazy and don’t like getting up from your sofa you can disable Kinect from the setting menu, still its a very interesting feature for the Kinect.

Home address....no clue.

I might just give a fake address. :)

I kept going to txb wondering what was with all the spam then I finally noticed the sticky talking about this place, it looks pretty good.

Anyway, I am looking forward to the One on launch but if these rumors are true about xbl, gimped versions of games etc how could anyone try to defend and excuse make? I personally don't care of the Xbox isn't as powerful, I like Xbox Live, the controller and the games. I still like Sony as well and will get one eventually.

NeoGAF is currently down for scheduled maintenance. Please be patient while the site is down.

I can't stand Albert Panello's doublespeak. It is insulting. It's an excellent representation... No one wants to see representations a month out from launch.
"There are a lot of licencing issues and logistics that go into direct feed". How is this double-speak to you? It's a fact. He has gone on record saying it works just as advertised, which means he will be absolutely roasted if it turns out he was BS'ing everyone.

Neogaf banned me for saying 'so salty' in a thread of people whining about something decent about the One and yet I see so much vile and hate posted there... .. mind blown

It amazes me how people seem hate gaming, I thought it was a hobby that we all share

I doubt very much they have the finalized firmware ready yet. One advantage of a day one firmware download I guess.
