Battlefield 4 running on X1 ... and PS4

I'm pretty sure though if your TV is about 10 feet from the place that you sit....you won't see the jaggies and it will look almost the same.

Both site yielded same result, only that now it includes MP which is the same case. The comments section are suffering meltdown, so many are questioning, "why do they look the same?"

Looks good for sure, unfortunately it's still Killzone.

60% joking. lol
Yeah, to be honest I'm not sure I'm getting either at this point. Ultimately I think this is a win for Xbox, not because it is better (It's certainly not), but because it is pretty damn close. Many thought it would get smoked. Still it is one game and I don't think that really sheds much light on the consoles and their capabilities. Should be an interesting next few weeks.

Goes on to prove my point right? I mean sharpness does matter, but with this one it was a little more than that. I thought so, at least. Add a little bit more anisotrophic filtering to PC, and then the clarity will get closer.

PC version is using 16x, you can't go higher.

I only expect something similar to this. Not sure about the spec, but very close end-user difference across all games.

All those anonymous sources once again come down to pure fan boy bulls***!

Oh and who said the PS4 version was confirmed for 1080p?

Yeah PS4 looks very similar to PC. Not sure what is going on with the Xbox sharpness, but it is overdone in my opinion, not that the PS4 blur is great either.

So, the layman won't notice a difference at all... and in some ways, the X1 version is preferable.

Exactly as expected and predicted.

Ironically, the sharper/clearer "pop" of the X1 version is more noticeable than the resolution advantage on the PS4 version, so most people will probably actually prefer the look of the X1 version.

Awesome.

Actually, really. By a longshot too.

which ones which than billy?

edit: was thinking you where talking about the differance between ps4 bf4 and xbox one....Killzone visually looks better than BF4 but BF4 sh1ts all over Killzone.

When you watch the IGN footage the PS4 MP looks a lot better than the X1 footage, also when you watch videos from sites other than the DF video the X1 footage looks quite a bit different and that "pop" is gone. I think there was something up with their capture equipment, video gamer mentioned how some things seem cranked up on the X1 to hide other issues. Some people have said the X1 footage was captured in 720p and the PS4 footage in 1080p so that had to be upscaled while the X1 footage hasn't been yet, I don't know how true that is.

Xbox one and PS4 versions of BF4 look amazing to me, but i see that people can't accept the Xbox one BF4 looks good and are saying the comparison vids are faked to downgrade the PS4 version?

and btw....PS4 multiplayer looks better than Xbox one single player.....get the fuk out of here.

Awesome.

If you want the PS4 version to be sharper/"pop" like the X1 version in the Digital Foundry footage, all you need to do is crank up the contrast/sharpness settings on your TV. You'll get the same results - http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=87927057&postcount=1673
Then you'll have your XboxOne look, without the jaggies, plus 50% better resolution, more effects, better framerate.

Xbox one looks about the same.

That's single player, but if you notice the ps4 outperforms the X1 most of the time, but oddly the X1 outperform ps4 too in some scenes and by alot. The one thing I noticed more than anything is during close up shots, the washed out look on ps4 is really evident, more than any other negative on either console.

I never trust these adjustments when concerning detail, especially from a forum.
