We should all know by now that Nintendo will never build a console at the same power level as MS and Sony. It will be always be less powerful. The question is it close enough to get third party support. I saw some remasters in the video namely skyrim but i believe it will get some good games from third parties.
 
Its a hybrid guys. It is not going to be replacement for a 3DS or a phone as a portable but as replacement for a tablet why not. Most popular small tablets are around 8 inches. Big tablets are around 9 to 12 inches. Tablets are a compliment device people use along side phones unless they have a big screen phone.

I'm quoting you. If in two years, the Switch hasn't sold 35 million, at least, that's what the Xbox One will be in two years time, you're banned from the site permanently and every post you've ever made will be deleted from the site.

If this thing is under $250 I may consider it.
 
I'm probably in. Never going to detach the tablet from the base, and will buy a pro controller for it, but ya, I really want to play the new zelda lol.

If you were waiting on the Wii U for Zelda, and this thing isn't more than $300, you get Switch. Otherwise, you go U.
 
Don't take the bet, Valliance. Come guys, video games are about having fun. There is no need for the fighting.
 
I'm in I think. Loved the functionality. Not the most attractive console out there, is it? Looks like one of those mid 70's model hearing aid devices you had to carry like a hand bag? Or maybe I'm thinking of something else. But yeah, it's ugly.

Jesus. It's been sooooo long since I've owned anything Nintendo .
 
That thing looks killer.

I just wish I, too, had friends too invite me to their rooftop party and play video games. :(

Power isn't everything, I have no problem with it being the least powerful of the big three. I'm glad they didn't go for another crazy gimmick.

If it's anything more than $299 it's seriously DOA. The only way I can see this thing not becoming vaporware is if it launches at $199 or less. Being priced the same as current gen consoles, yes, I know it's not a console per se, but it is, buyers won't take to it when you see consoles right in the same isle playing 4k games.

2 years from the launch/by the end of 2019 and I ment match the current sales xbo is at now ie less than 30 million.
So by the time frame mentioned above,will beat Xbox most months in ww numbers and sell over 20 million.

That's not what you wrote. Move those goalposts. Weasel your way out of it. Don't back up your claims. It's about as much as I expected.

Even though you're now claiming something else, you're still say the Switch will sell 15 million units each year for the first two years of it's existence? It's going to outperform the PlayStation 4 in sales? The PS4 didn't do 15 million a year in any year.

With your goal movement the bet is now, if the Switch doesn't sell 14 million per year for two years, 28 million, you're permanently banned and every post of yours gets deleted.

Gonna stand by your words? Gonna back up your "guarantee"?
 
So, looking at the specs:

It's essentially an Nvidia Shield TV (ever so slightly cut-down in some places) in a highly customized Wii U/Shield form-factor w/screen. Specs are spot on.
