Sony too show a Switch like device to weeks beefour Switch launches?

Anything you can do i can do better.

Nintendo still kicking themselves for not teaming up with Sony to make a console together.

Not really. Sega dropping the project with Sony hurt them a lot more.

It would be truly amazing if it could mimic PS4 vanilla levels of fidelity with the smaller screen. And if all Sony exclusives were cross play? I'd jump in again.
I'd say that's pie in the sky thinking you could get PS4 in a portable.

After being punished by Sony for owning a Vita, I will never buy a handheld gaming device ever again.

Looks to me like Sony has something similar to Switch that they have been sitting on. They want to release any info now in case Nintendo actually strikes gold. That way, they can claim that they weren't copying them, if they do in fact answer them back with said device; possibly for even legal reasons. Nintendo has been rumored to be working on the NX for some time, so who knows who had the similar idea first, at this point.

Anyway, I wouldn't expect to see anything handheld with PS4 capability for a while. Patents are made all the time and never come to fruition. It may appear down the line, and it may not. Until something is announced, I don't think it's much of a thing.

I remember before the Pro reveal, there was a rumor about this device. Or at least some kind of handheld.

I don't know if I'd be in the market after getting Switch.

Still hurt Nintendo. Take the Wii out of the conversation and the PS1 alone outsold every Nintendo console from the N64 on combined. I'm glad they never joined up to make a console though. Rather have the competition.

Yeah well Nintendo is the one who brings Sony competition.

Another handheld that barely get any support.

Thats 4 devices in 2 years? There is something wrong with Sony and this wont take off.

Maybe try supporting the non PS4 stuff you already have out? Or is VR dead?

Not interested in a PSP unless maybe it plays my existing PS4 library.

I'm incredibly skeptical on the idea of a handheld being able to play PS4 games.

That require some wizard level hardware and software solution that would be like literal magic in 2017.

Prob fake:
