Blech. Not liking her look at all. Obviously Joe Mad ain't workin' on this one...
She just looks about as generic as is artistically possible, imo. War and Death at least had a uniqueness to their design. I saw MAD's original design for her (for the Comic, I think), and they didn't come close to capturing the face or essence of the drawingIf you check out the comments section over at IGN most there don't like her look either. I think she looks cool especially her armor. But since I haven't played the previous games in the series I don't know if this a departure from that established style. I really hope they pull this off because the interview they gave about swiss cheese level design is something I enjoy exploring. The last game that I played with a interconnected game world was Bloodborne and a lot my enjoyment came from exploring the world and discovering new shortcuts.
Tight latex wearing woman with a big whip. Remindered me of something, but I just can't put my finger on what.
Still have my fingers crossed for this one:
The female protagonist thing is getting a bit overdone. It was cool at first, "hey let's make every fvcking game have a female lead, we'll show 'em!" Now it just seems blown out of proportion. Dat payback!
Naw, you're just over-reacting.The female protagonist thing is getting a bit overdone. It was cool at first, "hey let's make every fvcking game have a female lead, we'll show 'em!" Now it just seems blown out of proportion. Dat payback!

Fury is a female character already. It makes sense to have one of the other horsemen lead this game. I'm much more concerned with it being safe and thus generic. It's not an inclusion for the sake of it which I would have an issue with.
This is how you drive a studio and/or publisher into the ground.
God of War looks so much better than this. If your budget is a fraction that of the market leader, you have to do something different.
Game might still end up being good. I just don't have much hope for it being successful.

There are plenty of dude leads still out there.
Which is kinda a hilarious since bows take a lot of strength to use effectively (armor piercing bows were had around 110-120 lb pulls) and aren't all that nimble, and the average sword/axe weighed ~2 lbs.Yeah, I remember that about Fury, it just seems overdone with devs trying to be edgy and different when it ends up look just as(or more) generic than some dudebro. The character design, in general, is just bad imo too. Yeah and if she has some type of bow and arrow it'll be funny.
