We're having it bad with fires because of these stupid winds. Last i heard 7 different fires were going on. One has covered 90k acres. :(

This is in the city in an area with hills and brush.

They're never actually used level purple before.

And some f***ing moron decided to start a fire.

Fine. Message received union. Plainview doesn't care about black people.

I'm more central but I got friends in that area. They say they're fine but it still stresses me out.

Jesus Christ that looks like hell. I can’t imagine the helplessness people must feel. Stay safe everyone. Keep us posted if you need anything.

Good thing that global warming isn't real, so those fires aren't nearly as hot. #SarcasmFont

It seems like every year we have a mess with fires out here, sadly this is going on during Christmas season and we have had no real rain in a little while now. Last year we actually had a decent winter (well what we call winter in So Cal lol) and a good amount of rain, this year we had a nearly 100 degree Thanksgiving and it's been 70's-80's ever since.

Now we have a fire on northern san diego county thats moving fast. And heavy winds are expected into the weekend. They started monday, i can't remember having winds this bad for so many days before.

Stay safe SoCal. I grew up in Santa Monica and remember the Santa Ana wind brush fires, but this is a new level. This is... I was starting to get over this s***.

It's like I want to avoid watching the news, but I can't help it... f***.

California strong. I've lived north and south, and yes there are some big differences, but we'e a pretty damn great state.

And I don' have anything really clever to say right now because I'm kinda drunk and really sad.

Sooo, this is a drunk night. Tomorrow should be fun.

Where are you, generally, if you you're ok with saying?

Doesn't matter, drunk me is thinking about escape routes. But I can't help you from where I am....

Really, just feeling helpless

Weird thing is, I want to go back home. I want to stand on a rooftop with a girehose.

Because I didn't

Orange County middle south area. So i'm out of harms way. If the fire that we had in October happened now it probably would have been worse and affected family members.

Yea, Ojai last i heard there was only one way out everywhere else blocked by fire. Thats scary i hope everyone was extra precautions and just left a lot of those areas don't have many directions they can go if they start getting surrounded.

Probably best you didn't. Fire can surround can cut off escapes so fast. I'm glad there have been no reports of fatalities for all these fires were having.

Oh good, stay safe OC.

Yeah, logic is the best option. Especially with a family. But tonight is a rough night, not being logical

Anyway, don't mean to derail. I'm just feeling lost of s*** tonight. Scared for SoCal.

It's moments like this I wish there was something I could do. I'm no firefighter so not much of a help but I'd like to think if I was I would go help out. Same goes for hurricanes or other natural disasters. Would be nice to lend a hand to those in need.

Fire is still going and moved up to Santa Barbara. And its been pretty windy today so thats not good. 3rd largest in california history. I can't imagine any fires being bigger jeez.

A fire fighter died the other day too sadly.

Last weekend when the weather was really bad some evil POS tried to start a fire in Anaheim Hills. Thank god a off-duty police office noticed he was doing something suspicions and caught him.

It took a couple views but I realize that white truck at the end came out of the fire lol.
