Death Stranding only needed to reduce the "walking simulator" footage down to like maybe 30 seconds and the trailer would have been received much better. 3 minutes of walking, no matter how good it looks visually, is going to get ridiculed by the internet.

Aside from all the walking I thought it was an interesting trailer, but I get the sense this game could be anywhere from 2 to 4 years away :(

I still don't get what that game is, it's hard for me to be excited about it but it looks nice. The terrain looks like Iceland.

Except for that one shadow that was just floating that didn’t connect to where there should’ve been one, where Sam is walking on that ladder bridge.

Ghosts of Tsushima...WOW! Loved it. Want it.

Last of Us 2 looked good.

Spider-man looks like it could be fun.

Control from Remedy looks like a mix of Quantum Break and Darth Vader.

The thing about Spiderman is it looks amazing, but how do the controls really work. I have a hard time believing that we'll be able to control all that action the way it is done in the video.

Death Stranding is really interesting. The trailer was amazing visually, but yeah at some point they have to show some actual game. We still don't have any real release date anyway.

Best exclusives of the show and easily some of the best games. As everyone mentioned TLOU PT 2 looks insane and Naughty Dog are on another. Ghost of Tsushima blew me awa and is my game of the show, ooft I need more. Death Stranding still has me interested but I think its clear its the least developed of the 4 games shown. Spider-ma still looks freaking amazing. I think it is clear Sony is going to coast to the PS5 and I fully expect Japan Studios ps4 game to move to PS5. They know they have got this gen on lock but need to prepare for next gen when Microsoft is going to come much stronger. Also terrible terrible structure and pace. Just have it all in one place and you solve the pacing issue. I felt sorry for people in theatres watching it; please not again Sony!

That reminded me of an Andy Kaufman skit. It just kept going on and nobody knew if it was ever going to end. :)

Yeah. I think Ghosts Of Tsushima is my game of the show too. Unfortunately, still doesn;t have a release date, though...not even a tentative 2019 one.

I’m a fan of weird. That’s why it was my most anticipated of this show. It just didn’t land this time. There’s a fine line between being weird and mysterious...and weirdness with no road map or direction.

I’m not sold Kojima knows what type of game he wants to make yet.

I had no idea why MGS V was so lauded. That first hour was a ridiculous, slow trip through gaming hell, imo. I didn't think I could roll my eyes any more than that. Granted, maybe it gets better, but that whole first scene turned me way off. I've always like Splinter Cell better.

That said, I am intrigued by Death Stranding. It is certainly different, and like all of these Sony first party games, has great sense of place, and i like that.

I will say that outside of presentation, I'm not seeing much genre pushing or sandboxy gameplay. The Spiderman clip actually diminished my interest somewhat, as I was just getting strong batman vibes.

It comes down to preference, of course, but my favorites of the (E3) show so far are Rage 2, Beyond Good and Evil 2, and Just Cause 4, lol. All open worldy gameplay sandboxes. And Cyber Punk. .. Also some of those indies like that Halibut game :D

I gave it a B- because TLOU is looking slick and Death Stranding is still intriguing. I should drop it some for that awful format... I had to put the kids to bed so I don't know if they showed Dreams outside of that quick clip...

Ghost of T had some cool imagery and music, but was a bit stiff. Of the Samuri games at E3, the From Software game looks much more fun to play with some interesting combat, though its production values aren't as good.

I'm pretty sure he knows. Remember that Kojima was strapped to Metal Gear for a longer than he would have liked. He been wanting to break out and do something different for nearly a decade. I'm sure he's got a fairly clear idea of what kind of game he wants to make. It's other people who are confused (which is how he likes it).

What a weird show.

A small handful of breathtakingly gorgeous games, mixed with live performers and pointless commentary.

What are Sony fans most happy about?

Ghosts of Tsushima looked really good IMO.

Gave it a B+ because of the dumb music stuff and venue change, otherwise for exclusives it would have been an A- maybe. Ghost of Tsushima, Nioh 2, Death Stranding, and Resident Evil 2 Remake were the best for me. Spider-Man looks alright and don't care about The Last of Us.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, MGSV was one of the most overrated games I've ever played. Empty open world, rinse and repeat missions, it felt nice to play and the dog/wolf looked nice but the world hardly had anything going on in it and we had to keep going back to the same places over and over for missions. Also Quiet was one of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen in a video game.

Now I can't get Quiet's humming and big things out of my head...

It's probably my game of the show, but...

I don't want to play a character that's wearing a doormat for a costume! It looks totally ickie. The only welcome mat I like, is the patch of hair at the base of a man's back...

Not only that, he has these awesome tapered trousers, and then he prances in the mud and gets them dirty. What's the point of living in a free country, if you have to wear dirty clothes?

Kojima asked Konami for another delay. They said "No, we're just getting it out the door". Kojima, who is an artist first and foremost, was livid. Yadda yadda yadda, now he's making a game for Sony.

Kojima has more vision than anyone else in this industry. They don't call him KojimaGod for nothing.

Joan of arc had visions too, and that all worked out well...

I don't like wearing clothes.

During that Ghost of Tsushima trailer when we were waiting for the main character to reveal his face I just couldn't help but think it'd be funny if he looked like Matt Damon lol.
