3 is incredible and has so much going for it
but I prefer 2. warts (raiden) and all. I have a preference for the "atmosphere" of 2 much more, with the art and soundtrack it just gets me better. 3 trounces 2 in a few substantial ways, but I'll never forgive the lack of VR missions in the games after 2.

Has anyone noticed a large amount of OG XBOX games are in the store?

BC is a great addition for me, doesn't really matter if good or bad business deal for MS or if few play bc games as long as I'm happy.
Yep great feature and enough evidence and figures from MS to show it's been successful with games like Red Dead and cod even 're charting and so on.
Just because we've moved gens doesn't mean no one wants to play these games anymore.
And I've gone back to or bought games once they joined the program.
All companies should have had bc from the start.

only thing I do not like about when they add new games to this compatibility list, the prices of those games go way up. when they added Ghostbusters: The Video Game to the list the cheapest I could find it used was over 30 I can get a PS3 version for more than half off of that.
Got to be quick with those.

Any gaming enthusiast should appreciate this feature. I'm not going back and replaying older games...I'm playing them for the first time on Xbox One and it's more than likely a superior experience than playing them last gen. In the last year, I've beaten: Portal 2, CivRev, Mirror's Edge, Rayman Origins, Braid, Borderlands and Far Cry 3. I currently have Dante's Inferno in my rotation (as well as Ninja Gaiden and I "restarted" KOTOR). On deck in the backlog, I have Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Borderlands 2, South Park TSOT, Dark Souls & Lost Odyssey. I play b/c games nearly every week....because I'm playing great games I missed/never finished from last gen. Also, don't think GAAS has as much to do with it as the large digital libraries folks have now. I'd rather have b/c than have to keep every generation of console hardware...especially as the new console plays the old games better in most cases.
Nice...never played any of these...hopefully they are more performant on Xbox One/One X hardware! I'll wait for EA Access or a cheapy sale though.
I've actually been waiting for Crysis. Should be interesting to see how it holds up.
Not related to xbox BC but I bought soul calibur 3 today. It took me until a week ago to realize I have one of the few ps3 models that are backwards compatible with more than just ps1 games. Soul calibur is my favorite fighting series but I ever got around to 3 due to never owning a ps2.
I'm probably the outlier but I'm pretty stoked to finally get to this game after 11 years.

I'd love Max Payne 3 if they make the cut-scenes skippable.... Awesome game marred by overly long cut-scenes that are great the first time through, but torture on subsequent play-throughs.
Outrun? Yes, please!
But is Blur really worth it if you can’t race online? Actually can you play any of the PGR games online still?
