HDMI 2.1 isn't a big deal for me.How big of a factor is having hdmi 2.1? Not many TVs have that and new consoles are right around the corner and will likely support it. I’m tempted by the TCL but fair or not they strike me as a up and coming Vizio: lots of bang for the buck while the durability might be lacking.
Well that is probably the IPS nature of the LG.The LG does have FALD dimming. BB had the 9 series side by side with their OLEDS which did the NanoCell no favors. The OLEDS are clearly superior and more expensive.
The hisense h9f.... BroI have 55” LG SM9000 getting delivered on Monday. For the same price I it picked over the same size Q70 and the bigger P series quantum. Why?
The over saturated look of Samsung qleds turn me off along with being forced into Sammy’s half assed ecosystem with Bixby and HDR 10+. As for Vizio I don’t trust them and the picture looks great (until it goes) while everything else sucks.
Longer (relevant wise) than any LG LED.We will see how that Hisense holds up 4 years from now.
No no! They use them cause they don't wanna pay Sony or Samsung to make there screens! In a LED market saturated with VA panels, LG smartly uses IPS panels for those interested.
I never did get a 4k TV. Not that I was really that serious. Mostly use my current TV for sports with a few shows and console gaming. Probably would want 4k by next gen. Will have to look into that Hisense though as that is a nice price and I see it has full array.
I just saw an 8k tv on display at BB.
Wow.
No content, wayyy too expensive, but damn.
