same here. I hope it lives up because we all know they are people like to keep hyping over trash games.Looking forward to giving these a shot, people rave about them and if I'm being honest I've always been a bit skeptical.

I love them, in terms of gameplay they're an evolution of shenmue but without the obligatory monotony that shenmue have (still, I love shenmue). It's not pretty and the animations still look like early ps3 games. What it do have is over-the-top japoonese style storytelling and set pieces with the standard japoon sexual culture... personally, I love it, but I'm sure it's an acquired taste.same here. Really? Surprising, a while since I played it, but can't remember frame rate issues. And no 4k is a bit lolFrame rate is giving me a head ache. Not 4K on the X.

Sounds like yakuza 2 will be next month
Finished Yakuza Zero. AMAZING story!
It took me 32 hours. And I avoided most of the substories after chapter 2 to focus on the main storyline.
I gave it a quick go, was ready to uninstall. Read your post yesterday and decided to give it another go. Finished the first chapter and I’m hooked.
Where'd you hear that?
People should check this game out. I mean..I love Shenmue but it's mostly because of the nostalgia from my Dreamcast days. Yakuza Zero s***s all over Shenmue with its rollercoaster drama.
I really wish the English subs had been included just for the laughs....
