But they never revealed who hired the assassin Tyrion was just the main suspect.

At no point has the show said was definitely insert name here.

Like MilkmanX says below. It was heavily implied who did it. Although, with recent events coming to light, I guess it could have actually been little finger.

That was pretty much implied who it was on the show. Should not have to spell that out...

Well then they did a bad job because....

Joffrey

Read if you want but then who knows maybe the show runners have changed it but it seems to be they decided not to reveal who hired him.

Come on. You have said a few times how the show has changed some from the books.

I could be mistaken but I thought Jaime and Cersei had an argument about him sending the assassin.

No they argued about him pushing him and him still being alive. Jamie said he would kill him if he woke up and said anything.

Plus the show has gone out of its way to show Jamie's love for him so he wouldn't set him up like that.

Ah ok I think you are right, it's been a while since I watched that episode.

I found this and thought it was funny!

I love how the viper gave a speech with a smirk on his face the entire time. Bravo to him.

So, all agreed that Sansa Stark in that black dress has been the sexiest thing ever? Agreed.

I rewatched the fight this morning. I knew what was going to happen but my heart still beat like the hammer of a coked out blacksmith.

I love Jamie's face during that entire fight. He is just so mesmerized and impressed.

So, who thinks Tyrion is actually going to die ? I just do not see it happening(dangerous thinking for this show). He is without a doubt one of the big draws for this show. Losing him really would lessen the show in my eyes.

I know all the focus is on Tyrion and the trail fight, but what about poor Jorah. Crucified for a choice he made long before knowing and respecting the mother of dragons. Plus, Little Finger attempting to aquire an army

Also, something that just popped in to my head. In season 3-middle of, I think- the Nights Watch sent out a raven to all corners of westeros with news of the White Walkers. Why is that they all seem to have forgotten about this impending danger.

I really hope Tyrion doesn't die. He's great.

Jorah, no longer in House Friendzone.

I thought for sure Oberyn was going to throw the spear at Tywin.

I can't wait for the final two episodes.

Yeah I don't think Tyrion will die either, I'm sure something will happen. I've never read one word from any of the books though so I guess I shouldn't say I'm sure lol.

That fight last night was amazing, I hated how it ended but loved it at the same time. I hate that a character who had a ton of potential is gone but damn what a way to go.

I would not be surprised if Cerci sends his paramore quickly after him.

As for Tyrion...I just do not see Jamie letting it happen. Maybe h will set him free and die for treason himself, or maybe he can convince his father to spare him. Would be nice to see Bron free him in some way, but doubt that will happen.

Oh man, there goes another character I very liked in the show. Really do hope Tyrion survive this.

I actually expected him to survive. They spent a lot of screen time on him just to have him die so quickly.
