Anyone who missed the Bethesda conference should watch Todd Howard's presentation on Fallout 4. Looks like it is going to be a great game. It's releasing 11/10/15.
and here is the video, so people can do just that.

I don't think it could be discerned from the vids which platform, but when in doubt assume PC!I wasn't even a fan of the other games. But this looks awesome.
Did they mention if it was running on console or PC?

One thing I like about Bethesda RPGs is the amount of customizing. And this game takes it further by allowing crafting of gear and house. I see myself making a fort with lots of mines, and then making cool assault rifles with scopes and like the video, big bulky armour.I wasn't even a fan of the other games. But this looks awesome.

I'm too lazy to rewatch a F4 video, but when the video is showing the inventory and someone flipping through all kinds of gear, if you look closely at the parts section you'll see tons of parts, which I assume lead to tweaks.... stuff like Plastic 35132, Plastic 75256 etc.... So even for bits and pieces there are still differences to them.Oh yeah. I'm getting this one.
The overall vision just came together for me with this iteration. It looks like a crazy Pixar movies.

Looks like it could be running on the Xbox One. You can see the A, B, X, Y button icons in the video.
Good catch. Although devs have been known to use Xbox controllers on PC set ups.Looks like it could be running on the Xbox One. You can see the A, B, X, Y button icons in the video.
This will be the last thing I say on the game for the night.
I think part of the reason why I was so disappointed in what we saw of Fallout 4 was because I assumed Bethesda was a certain type of company. One with specific values I appreciated.
Fallout 3, which came out forever ago, was brilliant technically. Sure it had some jank, especially over time, but it's world and stories were so big it didn't matter.
Then came Skyrim, which to me, was a giant step up in terms of cleaning up the jank and making the visuals look significantly better.
I guess part of me just expected Bethesda, who had so much time and money, not to mention new hardware, to really blow the doors off with Fallout 4. They didn't do that.
Honestly though, if you're anticipating the game then more power to ya. Don't let a few haters ruin your parade.
Good to see that your anti-Fallout 4 posts all night were a farce. This will be the last thing I say on the game for the night.

Skyrim was a good looking RPG, but it did not clean up the messes of Fallout 3. It was just a different setting. Both games still had the same kinds of game engine, weird physics, bugs and the PS3 version was crippled beyond belief where it had save game corruption and could run in single digit frame rates. Both console versions ran at more inconsistent frame rates and had more screen tearing than F3 too.
Goes to show you didn't even play Skyrim.
Good night!

Man that looks incredible.
I might have to get the X1 version, if this is exclusive to that platform (although he didn't say it was, so who knows).
"Fallout 4 mods made with the PC version will work on the Xbox One version.
"Bethesda Game Studios chief Todd Howard took to the stage during Microsoft's Xbox E3 2015 press conference to say mods created on the PC will be able to be transferred, played and shared for free on Xbox One.
"Meanwhile, Microsoft announced Fallout 4 includes a free copy of Fallout 3 on Xbox One."

MS just guaranteed that F4 will be most played on an MS platform (be it Xb1 or PC).

are these likely to break the game, though? A lot of mods on PC tend to not work great or break something.
