Me too but I am not calling out any fanboy GOTY awards before any game is played. In fact Horizon coming out right before may put a damper on the Zelda spotlight. And there are some heavy hitters coming out this holiday too.

Right now my GOTY is Resident Evil 7 VR and it is going to take something truly amazing and fresh like that to dethrone its spot.

If you don't find the humor in branding games GOTY before anyone has played them but think I'm funny basing GOTY on what I have actually played thus far then you have some serious plastic adoration issues.
 
Horizon Zero,Dawn looks like it could be in the goty conversation. Good gaming coming soon in the next few week with it and Zelda releasing so close together.

WTF? No. I enjoy playing video games. I do it almost nightly as a way to relax. I do not care in the least which system I game on because for me it's all about the game itself and the fun it provides. So I am clearly passe' about which system is which. Now being this way will allow me to say bad things when I see them and this is where you get ruffled when I say something bad about the system you adore. So sorry. I call it as I see it. You likely ignore all the positive things I say and jump out of your skin when I say something negative towards your beloved. Real talk means taking the bad with the good.

With tried and true quality gaming companies,franchises and being a gamer who understands this industry you can make these types of statements and usually be right. :)

There is no "right" when it comes to opinions. But there is some "right" to at least playing a game first before giving an opinion on how good it is.

Some opinions suck IN MY OPINION haha

Real soon the game releases and will be reviewed and I and Jay feel it will be a critical success.
When it does...you can try and spin away how good the game is all you want but that will just make you look silly.

BUT! If it ends up rating soso or bad we will be very sad and look stupid.
 
I think the game will be amazing. I'm buying Switch Day One for it. But I find nothing wrong with what Oblong is saying.
 
I am Bestbuy too. Do I need to buy the AC adapter too? What is it for?

I got the neon version along with an extra set of joycons for local mp and a pro controller. I got the steelbook Zelda but couldnt find the version with the sword.
 
I'm just getting the console and Zelda. That's all I need for awhile.

I'm going be playing it mainly as a handheld. But when I do play it docked I'll try the the standard joycon controller configuration. I survived the Deamcast monster controller. I'll be fine.
