Stock market is following the trend that is has been following the last eight years. If anybody is going to give the scum in office now credit for the slight uptick in the market, these same people better be swallowing Obama's loads for tripling it in eight years.
For sure, Obama did great too.

Except when he took over, the market still sunk for probably 5 months. The markets hit their peak low when he was in office where the Dow hit 7,000 and then it rebounded to 9,000 when he won. The last time the Dow was at 7,000 was around 1997.

Trump is in a different boat as the markets keep going up even from day one.

As a side note for investors, if that wall does happen.... scope out construction, concrete and engineering companies and find out which ones are going to be part of making it.

"Wall" will not happen.

"Wall" will not happen.

I don't think so either. There are significant portions of the US-Mexico border that are nothing more than rugged mountains and desert regions. Places barely connected by dirts roads would be nearly inaccessible tor anyone who would need to transport labor and building materials to complete that section of the wall. Just 120,000 square miles of nothing. Where the temperatures can rise between 110 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

You'd have to build small towns, construct roads and drop zones for supplies and people to gain access to it. It would take longer than 4 years to build even if safety and environmental guidelines AREN'T obeyed. If safety and environmental awareness becomes a concern (waste, damage to the local Eco system, water, flora, fauna etc)......the project could drag on for a decade.

THEN there would be the protesters. And lets not kid ourselves, it's going to be a dangerous enough undertaking without the most radical dissidents disrupting work, perhaps even sabotaging construction. Mexicans on one side raising hell, Americans on the otherside creating chaos. Massive demonstrations , border patrol, troops, and Trump tweeting like a moron the entire time.

Just like sending armed soldiers into black neighborhoods, it's not worth it. Not even to gin up support from your base. It's just not worth it.

What the actual f***...

Why doesn't he use his own money?
It's probably just a test to see how loyal his followers are and also to get some free money.

He bought himself a 6 foot self-portrait with $6,000 in funds from his "charity" foundation. He has a tendency to use other peoples money. I'm surprised he didn't just write an executive order; "For every mean thing the fake meanie media says about me, two dollars goes towards fighting the fake meanie media."

He also needs to be liked/loved by everyone so this is one of they ways he gets that.

Bowling Green, Atlanta. Now Sweden.

They call the media the enemy and scream "fake news" while literally inventing news.

Surely you jest! With Pruitt in charge they won't have to worry about pesky environmental concerns.

What's worse is they can get their narrative out there and oh look they don't actually provide facts, so there's nothing to debunk.

r in 1929. It was also the last time the Reps had control of the administration, house and senate. 8 months laters was the great depression.
Well that escalated quickly.

http://theslot.jezebel.com/milo-yiannopoulos-disinvited-from-speaking-at-cpac-over-1792558811

To sum it up.

  • Video of Milo defending man-boy love surfaced.
  • It was the line to far for conservatives.
  • CPAC cancelled his speech.
  • Milo was triggered and had a Facebook meltdown.
  • Milo's book got cancelled as well.

Recession. GW had all three.
I don't want to be all doom and gloom here. and I was cutting off my response to Intellivision; however, the market data doesn't support this rally nor does the fed interest rates. We didn't have such a global economy back in the 20s but with isolationist type president, who knows?

He's an in real life troll who works for Breitbart, but now that Breitbart helps run the country, he's somehow relevant.

Oh, I know who he is. I meant it more as who the hell is he that I should really care? He's a nobody.

Yeah, nobody should care. He's a real life version of an internet troll. He goes to colleges, knowing full well that most very left leaning young people are going to freak out, then they get the result they want - making the opposition party look like anti-free speech radicals.

Like most internet trolls, the way to deal with them is put them on ignore and they go away.

Exactly. While I agree with some things he says, he's a troll.

man oh man something new every day with trump. Way more entertaining then Barack or Hillary could ever be.

SJWs, large part of his stance freedom of speech.
ok, I feel like SJW are just a bad element of the left, just like the hateful old(and their young) people of the right who blame immigrants, jews and blacks for their misfortunes. what squelches any reasonable point that Milo could acutally make is that he is an instigator and promotes pedophilia. the pedophillia is why all my foaming right facebook friends have fallen silent lately.

I agree.

We have a CEO for governor in Michigan. He has improved the economy and job market, but I think he's squeezed the state's resources to do so.

We have a Medicare fraudster CEO in Florida as well. Job creation has been pretty decent since he won election in 2010, which coincidentally is pretty much true of any governor who won election in 2010 as far as I care to look.
