I think a lot of people were expecting a passive AR/MR display to be shown here, at this event, though. It seems like the technology is really farther back than anyone really thought. We know that they have been working on it since early on, as they shot first with the underwhelming Google Glass. I have to wonder how Apple is coming along, now. This is perhaps one of the most important competitions for the future of these companies right now, imo.
