What movies have you seen recently?

Seriously. It's the worst movie ever made, but it's so bad that it's great. You watch it in wonderment thinking, "How did this actually get made? How could the actors continue to participate?"

Lol yeah I’ve read about it. I am looking forward to the James Franco movie about it looks interesting.

Justice League - Below Average

The CGI is some of the worst I ever seen in a blockbuster. Green screen usage was off the charts in terms of usage. There were very few on location scenes. My god, the cgi on Henry Cavill was jarring. From the very first scene you notice something is way off. The cgi is a mess, and it so bad that it’s distracting enough to affect enjoyment of the movie.

Yeah, the CG irked me from the very first teaser, seeing cyborg just breaks my heart..will still watch though.

Oh, but is it as bad as The Green Lantern CG?

I never saw Green Lantern. The very first scene, I thought it was supposed to be some fake video someone created to claim Superman was alive. It was so bad and off. The animation of Steppenwolf, when the camera is pulled back, is atrocious in parts.

Lady Bird - Good

I’m loving MoviePass. I got to the Locke’s at least twice a week now.
Near me, there is an art house cinema that also gets the mainstream flicks (albeit a few weeks late), and on Mondays (my day off) they have a deal where if you come at Noon, its free. You come at 1:00pm and its $1, 2:00pm and its $2 and so on.

The mainstream cinemas nearby are around $20 a ticket normally, and then if you want food to go with it, it costs about the same as a down payment on a house.

I always take a bottle or two of champagne in with me anyway, so eating would be wasted calories.

The Mummy (2017) - 6/10 I thought it was a decent monster flick worth the rental. If the other Dark Universe movies still happen I would check them out.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales - 7/10 I enjoyed this one. It was great having the full cast back and I like how they wrapped up the story from the original 3 movies. This was better than part 4 and what they should have made to begin with. Hopefully this series ends here.

Logan Lucky: Pretty good, better than I thought it was gonna be, considering they've cast Channing Tatum in a heist movie. I wasn't too sure about the bit at the end with Hillary Swank though.

i just watched this tonight, yeah i might be losing my mind but it was fun. made me lol a few times, as you say seeing the old gang was nice

The Dark Tower - 6/10 I liked some of it, just to me it didn’t go into enough detail about this world and what all was going on. I wanted more backstory. A little too straight forward and it pretty much is for those that have read the books. I know very little about the books. I knew enough to have a idea what this was about going in. Hopefully they make more. Elba and the kid are good in their roles. McConaughey was nothing special in this though.

I thought this was supposed to be a TV show.

So, I started to watch Kim Kardashian's insta from the past year and a half, and I really expected more of a story ark.

And Gwyneth Paltrow totally overacted.
