I'm a canukistani and this is funny to me(in a sad sense). I know we sell electricity to the States @ 1/3 the price we're charged. I live on a border city and when building my home years ago I remember grade "A" Canadian lumber was 1/2 the price in the U.S. Home depot and Lowes then grade "C" Canadian lumber @ home...

Not only that, but ever since Jacques Demers' shifty illegal stick measurement request in 1993, every year since then Canada's exported The Stanley Cup to the US as well.

Caterpillar Inc., which has a mining equipment factory in South Milwaukee, plans to close facilities in Texas and Panama and is considering closing a plant in Illinois. All together the moves could result in the elimination of 880 jobs, Reuters is reporting.

A company spokeswoman told Reuters Friday that employees of the work tools facility in Waco, Texas, and a demonstration center in Panama were told of the impending closures in January. The work from the Waco facility, which has about 200 employees, will shift to Wamego, Kan. The Panama facility has about 80 workers.

In addition, Caterpillar (NYSE: CAT) is also contemplating the closure of an engine plant in LaGrange, Ill., which has about 600 employees.

The restructuring is part of an ongoing effort to boost profitability and improve management of business cycles, the spokeswoman told Reuters. In March 2017, Deerfield, Ill.-based Caterpillar announced the closure of its factory in Aurora, Ill., affecting 800 workers. That plant is expected to close by the end of 2018.

Just started reading the book How Democracies Die. Have only read the introduction and first chapter so far, but I have a feeling I'll want to hang myself by the time I'm done with this book.

A wonderful Facebook user.....

Linda Fowler I've said it for years after working in the nonprofit world for 2 1/2 years. If anyone is caught dealing ANY drug or anyone is caught USING illegal drugs......shoot to kill. They will never change, never get and stay sober, and never be a productive member of society. Kill them and send a message to those weaklings that can't say a simple two letter word..."No".

That's really scary to think about. That's why here in the US we should be auditing our system now for 2020 (and not just complaining about it during the election).

In typical trump fashion, whatever he accuses other people of, he’s guilty off. Looks like Cambridge Analytica was conducting illegal activity to produce material on opponents, a lot false. Dossier “fake,” not so much. trump Cambridge Analytica using faux stories targeted with stolen? Facebook data, oh so real.

Wonder how Trump will respond to severe storms slamming the South East.

Also aside the tornadoes may be followed by intense snow storms in Alabama and West Virginia.

Were about to get hammered in the north east yet agin by snow on Wednesday.

Also, he hadn’t mentioned the bomber in Texas. Now that the bomber hit while people today, I bet he mentions it now considering it was all minorities before.
