I’ve liked him in the role, Affleck also made a great Wayne/Batman.
It is time to start fresh though.
So, aquaman pretty much going to be a critical success.... wonder woman also... what are they going to do, I mean they're going to have to make sequels to them... should they just start anew only with batman and mos?
If I were them I'd just replace Supes, Batman (only because Affleck probably doesn't want it) and the Flash, I think everyone else is just fine for the part they play.
Flash felt weird in JL imo, I cringed a few times when he should've been funny. Actor usually is fine but I don't think he fits the part and should be replaced, also they should rewrite him. Affleck is fine, cavill is fine and even though I feel a bit so so about how they made aquaman, I like momoa so he could stay. Gal is okay, they could replace her but I think the general public likes her. Cyborg was cast great, at least what I saw in JL. I guess it comes down to badly done movies in the end, if that will make people hesitant to watch more movies in this universe even if they're good idk

They should have just kept the same players and just get good people to do it. Super Heros movies are very popular and everyone wants in on it.

In all honesty, Mos is such a boring character personality wise that as long as actor looks the part, it'll work. Have no problem replacing cavill with someone else, just keep the direction they went with the suit.
Yeah, and eventhough it looks cool and is typical superman fight, the constant fly-punching into structures for every fight feels unimaginative imo
It's tricky to figure out how best to use OP characters.
I think in the first Avengers the use of The Hulk was well balanced including melee fighting with Thor. The fight was a little short though probably because it's strains the budget to do that.
This also makes me think of the attempts at previous Hulk solo films Pre-Avengers and how tricky it seems to develop a character with high power levels. I do think Ang Lee's was a good try despite the rough CGI at the time. The Ed Norton one fell into the Hero fighting an evil version of himself trap much like Man of Steel.
If there is a Man of Steel 2, I think they should look at what worked with The Matrix considering what can work with an overpowered flying character. The sequels where a weird mix, but I think Neo as a character was done well. I mean consider the idea he could have just dragged The Architct out of his chair and beat his ass, but instead the present it as him making a hard choice and not everything comes down to brute force. For what it's worth, even in Matrix 3 his brute force didn't win the day.

Why marvel and DC doesn't just make new black superheroes instead of black washing the white ones is beyond me.
They just made Ms Marvel and she's great, they clearly can make new superheroes that get liked.

Its easier to reuse. I do wish they would make new characters to inherit mantles like miles morales with there own different take.
Its possible this superman isnt clark but a whole new character using the same superman name.
