10 2018* open world rpg's u might not know of.

Interesting list. A few comments on some of the entries:

- Kingdom Come: Deliverance. I was excited about this game when I first heard about it, but the more I see, the less enthused I feel. It seems a bit too fussily realistic for me, and the combat does not look fun. We'll see. Maybe they just haven't shown it off right.

- Biomutant. Looks kind of cute. Don't know anything about it, though.

- Greedfall. Spiders haven't produced an RPG I've liked so far. All of them have been C-tier, gloomy and rather generic RPGs. They do seem to be getting a bit better with each effort, though, so maybe this one will reach B-level. I like that it's set in the 17th century (although with elves).

- WiLD. Is this a multiplayer RPG? I can't tell. It's from Ancel, so I'm interested. Who knows when it will arrive. It does look pretty creative.

I wonder how many of these games will actually come out in 2018, I'll guess 7.

Of the games in the vid, I guess I'm only really interested in WiLD. I think it's a bit hopeful to think it comes out this year. I don't think there's been much info about it since PGW 2015. Which I guess could mean a ton of progress has been made, but Ancel is also heavily involved with BG&E2 now as well. Fingers crossed.

I'm the same as Andy on Kingdom Come. On paper it sounds great but seeing it in motion is leaving something to be desired...

I enjoyed the last two games from Spiders so Greedfall has been on my list since they announced it. Decent cheaper games are good once in a while. Biomutant looks amazing and probably my most anticipated out of all of these. I've never played a Dynasty Warriors game although I do enjoy that genre. Maybe I'll finally give it a try.

WILD piqued my interst when they showed it a few years back. Haven't seen anything since then.

Praey Of The Gods looks interesting.

The initial announcement trailer piqued my interest as well, but it was the PGW 2015 that really got my interest in it's potential up.

Yeah, it's a very intriguing concept. With Ancel, though, it could be years before the game comes out.

Kingdom Come Deliverance looks good. Just need to see gameplay.

I remember Wild. That's been in development for a long time. It was E3 several years ago..

I still have plenty of large unplayed RPGs to hold my attention for a long time.

I was interested in Kingdom Come until finding out it was 1st person only.

Yeah Kingdom does look good. I think I’ll be waiting for some impressions first though.

If it's an RPG, I like to see my character evolve as I get new items (clothes, weapons, etc.).

Makes sense. I prefer 1st person if I'm given the choice. I find it more immersive. I like 3rd person when the character is a pre-fab one (e.g., Geralt, Aloy), but if the character is just a generic template (for instance, in Bethesda games), I like 1st person. I'll switch to 3rd occasionally to check out my armor, but spend 99% of the game in 1st.

Not sure if these are all PS4 only but since we're talking about it the answer is obviously 0. Nothing is coming to PS4 until 2020. At least that's what i've heard.

Definitely looking forward to Kingdom Come myself. Even though the gameplay isn't exactly blowing me away at the moment. I like the setting and the atmosphere.
