6 hours in. I think I am almost finished with the game. It's a good game. The grotesque and unsettling atmosphere and sound effects does it for me. There were times when I felt like damn, that was disgusting. It's a satisfying experience though.

Had £25 worth of points to spend so I've bought this.
Turn off vsync and then you can bump the refresh rate setting.
Anyway, I couldn't play more than about 10 minutes of this game without getting a headache/motion sickness.
After all the complaints, that egg puzzle was tedious rather than hard.
I can see myself hitting the screenshot button a lot. Looks beautiful, like a games loading screen artwork.

Only puzzles i hate are the "rotate this and it rotates that, but you have to line it up perfect" puzzles. Despise them. Still, the puzzles are thankfully different when you move to the next area. Still enthralled with this. Got better at the combat (hit and run is the way, lol), though the combat is definitely NOT what you play this for.
Wasted way too much time running around in Act 4 trying to find the correct paths. Resorted to looking up a vid on Youtube.
Finished it! Probably the most incredibly unique sci-fi horror game since Inside. Truly appreciate the grotesque art and fascinating world/story. Some of the puzzles were very challenging, and the combat was just difficult enough. This will be a cult classic.

Finally finished the game. Combat is frustrating, but what a ride! Unique and one of a kind, visually. Was intrigued, disturbed, and baffled in equal measure. One I'll definitely remember, but how about that ending? Wtf doesn't begin to describe it, lol. Fits the rest of the game though. wonder what the story is...

Yes. That's a good analog, lol. Not exactly satisfying, and tragic, so yes. I frigin hate that parasite! It's like a completely wasted journey taken only to show us this super disturbing world. It's not like the overrun civilization wasn't horrific either. Seems like the protag was driven by reproduction of some kind, burs its entirely sacrificial.
Apparently the artbook has additional details about the story. I'm considering picking it up.
