1. Grand Theft Auto VI Teaser Trailer

I will say no way will we get a handheld from MS. Handhelds rule in Japan, and MS drools in Japan.

Yep more likely the SP DLC announcement and maybe RDR2 form R*. A new GTA will be several years away.

Not a single one of those things really excites me. I'm happy enough with what I already know is coming....

Halo 5, Forza 6, Crackdown, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Hololens, Batman Arkham Knight, MadMax, Star Wars Battlefront, Mirror's Edge, Quantum Break, Rock Band 4

Yeah, I think the lineup, especially on Xbox, is pretty damn good with Halo 5, RotTR, Forza 6 and Fable Legends as exclusives for this year (my guess is the GoW Remaster is Spring of next year along with Quantum Break) along with some nice 3rd party stuff. Also, I think we all know that Fallout 4 is probably 75% a go but just a matter of when the release date is (my guess would also be spring of 2016). From that list, the most surprising that I would even care about in order:

1. Half-Life 3 - We know this is NOT happening....FU Valve
2. Shenmue 3 - The original games didn't sell very well and I don't think the risk/reward is really there
3. Red Dead 3 - The most probable in the whole list along with Fallout 4

RDR 3 announced at the MS presser would make E3 for me (along with FO4 the day before at the Bethesda presser)

I would have replaced GTAVI with RDR3. Red Dead Redemption was the best game last generation imo. Spent so many hours on my 360 playing it. Only beat a handful of games 100% and that was one of them and enjoyed it all.

Many of the predictions will likely come true at some point. But I see Rock Star Red Dead and Fallout 4 info being good possibilities for E3.

Ones I see as totally dead are Last Guardian, Shenmue III, MS handheld game system.

The rest are doable, just a matter of when...... given their track record the prediction that can be double downed with a bet by mortgaging your house and maxing out credit cards is Capcom making more RE remakes. The odds of winning money in a casino game is pretty close to 50/50 with the house getting a slight edge.

But more RE remakes is 100% certainty. Even if a rogue country launched electromagnetic bombs making the whole world go back to the stone ages, Capcom would find a way to make RE rehashes on chunks of limestone for $40.

Shocking game announcements:
  • Half Life 3
  • Starcraft next
  • Last Guardian coming this year
No other surprise would really generate that much buzz.

Am I crazy for thinking there's actually a chance this happens?

I guess not. I assume that the next time this game is unveiled, it will be close to release and very playable. If it's this year though, they've done an amazing job keeping everyone quiet. Not hearing too many rumors.

An Xbox handheld would be amazing but unlikely. Look at the PS Vita, if that can't beat the 3DS then an Xbox handheld has no chance.

Three out of 15.

Nothing Rockstar related should've even been on the list as they never participate in the whole e3 spectacle. I SOOO hope they announce a new Red Dead or a new Bully actually. Either one would be awesome. I think I remember reading that San Diego AND Toronto studios are both working on open world games, so, theres hope at least one of those happens....

#9 is actually incredibly specific.
3 out of 15 doesn't sound great, but considering how lousy proclaimed insiders are with their predictions which are more like 1/15, Kvally has a better track record than them, especially with #9. #9 should be worth 5 pts alone!

Therefore, Kvally = Insider!

Kvally, we need more insider tips!

They released a cgi trailer for what turned out to be RDR plus the DLC deal with MS was announced at E3.

They don't do any stage talk but do go to the event.

Link to this cg trailer? Both your examples though were the console manufacturer making the announcements. Yeah they don't have their own conference, but they're never onstage talking about their latest game or anything either. Rockstar doesn't do e3, thats all I'm sayin', MS obvi knew getting the GTA IV dlc would be a big deal so they announced it at their conference, and if we're thinkin' about the same trailer shown at sony's show all those years ago, that again was sony showing it... and if memory serves ( and we are indeed talking about the same thing) that was just a short clip of a western town in a sizzle reel of stuff from a bunch of different devs.... point being, neither of these announcements is on the same level as them announcing a new game at e3...

A new System Shock would shock the world. Apart from Half Life 3, this announcement would kill.
