Got to give them an A. Smash Bros. looks epic. Wanted to see Metroid but it's obviously not ready.

They showed Smash, Fire Emblem, Mario Party, Daemon x Machina ,fortnight, xenoblade 2 dlc/expansion, Octopath Traveler plus new demo in 2 days, Hollow Knight

No Pokemon proper for switch yet nor metroid but that maybe further down the road.

b+ for me. Didn't lack anywhere except maybe if you were looking for a metroid announcement.

So....0 details about the online service, 0 details on Metroid Prime 4, no F-Zero.................

I don't get the appeal of these games. I am not Nintendo's audience.

News on Metroid would've been interesting, but no dice.

Goddamn. The Switch Fortnite announcement seems to have stirred the hornets nest on twitter now that everyone that ever linked their Unreal account to PSN has come to realize it has f***ed them out of using it anywhere else besides PS4/PC/mobile.

Now they get to go through the same s*** I did last year, lol. Let's see if journalists actually give a s*** and report on it this time, I suspect they will.

Don't sleep on Octopath Traveler. I have a feeling it's going to be very well received.

Hopefully it does well and we start seeing JRPG's actually start targeting more mature themes and stories.

I haven't watched it yet. But it sounds like what I was afraid of. Games that Nintendo loves but that I don't.

Terrible conference for me personally. I’ve never been into Smash Bros, and that was 80% of the direct.

C+ because Smash looks really fun. Other than that kinda meh. No Metroid is disappointing.

I voted C-. I see some people loved the announcements so I don’t want to take a dump on it. But if either Sony or Microsoft had a conference and the two biggest highlights were a fighting game and a party game, they’d get crushed. I’m not into fighting games but will give SSBM a try. It was an impressive amount of content for a fighter.

Really hoped to see Metroid. Understand if it’s not ready to show but that makes last year’s announcement even more foolish.

But if we can give others ish for not evolving, what about Nintendo? Their games have smart gameplay but story telling, tone and voice acting is lacking across the board. Not asking for Mario to get serious but there was nothing else in that lineup that branches out.

Absolutely nothing at all I'm even remotely interested in. The only 2 games I would be interested in (Zelda & Mario) came out last year. I'm not seeing any reason at all to ever shell out $ for this thing from what I saw at the conference.

Way too much time spent on Smash Bros.

But appears to have the same problem as always which is a lack of games
