Shows are over.
When they were live Xbox got more attention and is widely considered the E3 victor.

That is great but when we look back in a few weeks time Sony's exclusives will have still accrued higher youtube views, garnered more interest and most likely sold more PS4's. Just wait till Spider-man.

That is great. And in the mean time the rest of us will just enjoy games on both consoles regardless of YouTube hits.

It's funny. Last year it was all about new announcements vs games actually releasing this year. Now it's new announcements vs quality of games. We need a grading rubric developed before next E3 begins.

Let's be honest Halo, Gears and Forza are a crutch for Xbox. They failed to show New IP's or solve X's main issue. Out of 5 announced studios only one is actually new. Overall I wasn't blown away or convinced I needed Xbox. With that being said

Games - Sony
Presentation - Xbox

Both are lazy conferences the difference is Sony blew me away Xbox didn't.

The second Playground studio is new. The Initiative is new. Ninja Theory and Compulsion are not new studios, but I don't see why why that should be held against them. The important thing is that all 4 studios will be bringing new exclusive content to the Xbox.

What did Sony show that was new that blew you away?

The Last of Us 2 looked far and away better than anything else at that show.

Hell it looked a generation ahead. I also believe what was showed of it was actual gameplay.
Granted it might not have been 'new' per se but for me it was the highlight of E3.
That game blew me away much like the first one did.

I think animation wise it blew everything at E3 away, graphically it looked top notch for sure but I think Ghost of Tsushima gave it a run for it's money, the graphical fidelity along with the artistic choices are amazing in that game, they just need to get some of those animations smoothed out.
