Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare
Split Screen Co-Op on Xbox One

Battle for brainz in Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare split screen CO-OP or Boss Mode exclusive to Xbox One Kinect and SmartGlass.

Brian Lindley, producer for Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare talks about split screen co-op being exclusive to Xbox One, and how it pits two plants against wave after wave of zombie invasion in the ultimate battle for brainz.

Players will have a variety of choices when it comes to customising their plants; such as the Ice Peashooter and the Fire Cactus. These variations also give special abilities, like the Fire Cactus' ability to deal additional fire damage on enemies.

In this game mode, players will have to face off against increasingly difficult hordes of zombies but also have to deal with boss zombies. Every few waves, the 'Zomboss Slots' will randomly pick three bosses or bonuses for the next round. If you are lucky you may get a bonus, but it will usually be a variety of powerful zombies that will take everything you have to defend against.

If you need even more backup, then why not get a friend to use Boss Mode and provide support? Exclusive to Xbox One Kinect and SmartGlass, you are given an overview of the battlefield and a number of abilities you can deploy to assist your team down below. You can drop spotting stations to reveal enemies for your teammates on the in-game HUD, drop healing stations to give your team a boost, unleash cherry bombs on the undead or even use the resurrection to bring back a downed ally.

This game came in a bad time. You have titanfall beta and people are going to forget this real quick.

Its a shame because I want this. Maybe I will get it anyway.

I know I'm getting it anyway and I'll probably still play it alongside TF if I like it.

Good thing its not a full price but I thought I read it was delayed because of titanfall beta

I know im in the minority but the couple videos ive seen do nothing for me. i loved the first one so maybe ill grab it at $20, to close to Titanfall and i still have other games i need to finish.

Not sure if I will get this game or not. It doesn't have single-player in it, right? Or so I've heard. I'm afraid that if I buy it, then few months later, no body will play online. We all know there are some heavy-FPS coming out this year (TitanFall and Destiny, especially).

I'll pick it up for the two player split screen, I can see me and my friends having a good time taking on waves of zombies.

The game looks great, very colorful and while really changing the dynamics of the original seems to have managed to stay true to the IP. Some of us Worms fans are a little wary of this new PvZ because we still bitterly remember what a hot mess Worms:3D turned out to be.

The co-op mode and price are what have pushed me over the edge to add this game to my buy list. My main concern is that the online play is going to be heavily populated by the under age crowd.
