A look at public schools in Detroit.....

I was in a school like that when I was really little. It was such a tattered and ugly place. The type of fixes these type of schools would need would end up being huge costs. Never got moldy bread though. You'd think they could at least figure that part out.
 
Michigan sucks. I've been working on getting away from that state.

So far now working for a trucking company in Wisconsin. I hate truck driving but I really felt like I had to GTFO of Michigan.
 
That's disgusting. Yet people will be surprised when those kids grow up and turn to crime instead of getting a good education.

How can every kid have a fair shot at the American dream when they can't even get access to elementary education?
