Aliens - Prequel Series

The books and graphic novels took the series in a few interesting ways with my favourite being the corporate weaponised alien soldiers. In that one the aliens eventually make it to earth and a massive war breaks out which leaves the planet in a ruin and humans no longer living there. Weayland Yutani and their competitor Seegson 'domesticate and train' alien warriors - they change their colour to red and stencil ID tags onto their heads and introduce some pheromone that causes them to attack the original aliens. There are handler marines that use sign language to give them basic orders. One of the other corporates takes a different approach and builds massive combat androids made of some plastic that's immune to the acid. They fire on any alien. One of the side stories had an alien warrior that was being trained but it had some voice integration tech attached to it so it could talk but all it ever said was "Kill?" or "Kill!!" - I loved that guy.

How are they going to make an Aliens tv show that is set on Earth before Ripley even finds the crashed space ship without somehow having the actual aliens on Earth? And that pisses all over the original story. If it is set about 70 years in the future its based in the time of Prometheus (set in 2091, Ripley was born in 2092). They better handle this well.
It is easy to look past that, though. Government, shady private organisations, the fact they didn't seem surprised or worried about this creatures existence at the start of Aliens.
