More grist for the rumor mill. Most people seem to think it's a fake. It comes from OsirisBlack, who leaked some accurate info about the PS Pro before its launch.

I'd be satisfied with those specs but an extra 4 GB of memory would be nice.
If real I'd be pretty excited about a cordless PSVR with oled screens.

Well, the first slide says we'll see something Feb. 21. So I guess we'll know in 3 months whether they were fake.

If it's a fake, it's a very detailed one. The things I don't find believable are the 2019 release date and showing the design. I guess it's possible.

I heard that based on the specs, it'll probably be $499, if it's 2019. I don't know enough about the tech to comment on that.

This seems made up by PSVR fan. It's basically checking all the boxes that VR fans want but a little too obvious and over the top.

I'm still guessing 10-11TF GPU, 16GB of memory and a Ryzen CPU, nothing extravagant but a big improvement over what we have now.

Smells fake to me. Optional on-the-fly asset replacement? No Dolby Digital support? Custom racy-tracing extensions? Eh.. even general terminology looks off.

Also, mentioning half-precision TF to double the number is a very fanboy listing.

I'd love to see some ray-tracing tech, but I am not optimistic. Zen 2? Eh.

The VR Pro aspect seems weird too. Mid gen VR units?

You better hope so. If PS5 is anywhere close to as powerful as Scarlett then Microsoft is in for another long generation. Might not be much that can save them either way. Greatness Awaited and now the Beast Cometh.

I'm sure it's not real but I don't mind it, I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to consoles though. As long as it's not white and doesn't look like a toy I'm fine.

I will be buying the PS5 and Xbox Two day one. So I hope all of it is real and both are in my entertainment center entertaining me.

If they came out next year, I would be moist.

If released in 2019 at 11gflops and backwards compatibility, I'm in day 1.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that in the same timeframe Sony drops E3, we get all these supposed leaks/rumors.

But either way, almost all of them continue to suggest 2020.

Rumour: 'Beastly' PS5 Dev Kits in the Wild, But Not Due Until 2020
Controller may include a camera

It’s all kicking off. Sony has shocked us by announcing that it’s not attending E3 2019 at all, and it’s resulted in a slew of speculation about the PlayStation 5 and what’s going on behind-the-scenes. Kotaku reports that, “based on conversations it’s had with developers across the industry”, the Japanese giant’s next-generation console is not set to release until 2020.
However, one Reddit rumourmonger, who was the first to break the E3 2019 story, reckons that PS5 development kits are already in the hands of studios, and it’s a “beast” apparently. This is supported by a separate Square Enix story, where an artist at Luminous Productions accidentally revealed that the team is working on a new IP for the next-gen console.
RuthenicCookie, who appears to be enjoying his five minutes of fame, claims that the console is codenamed PSV, and that there’ll be two PlayStation Experience-style events next year, one of which will take place in mid-2019 when it’ll officially unveil the system. According to the so-called “insider”, the new console's controller will include a camera for improved virtual reality tracking.
Of course, with Sony staying schtum, it’s impossible to verify any of this information – it could be legit, or it could be nonsense. We believe that developers definitely do have access to PS5 development kits, and we also reckon the console will launch in 2020 – but we’re uncertain of whether that will be earlier in the year, like March, or in the traditional pre-Christmas slot.

It’s tough when you know a mid-gen upgrade is coming, I may just wait for that

If there are mid gen refreshes next gen I think they'll take longer to come out because it's going to take more than a couple of extra TF to make it worth releasing.

Not sure why they would unveil this system 1.75 years ahead of release (no way this is a 2019 release)? While I don't think the primary specs listed are too far off, it seems like it will be costly (minimum $499) and all of the PSVR stuff just seems like it checks all of the boxes you would ever want. I mean PSVR hasn't sold that many units (around 5 mil in 2 years) and by this it seems they are going all in and doubling down on VR. I mean all of the VR tech seems like it would cost another $499 minimum and possibly more for the wireless tech. At any rate, I'm interested to see if the February announce date is real. If all of those specs are legit and the price isn't too crazy, I may be day one on this. Can't wait to see what MS comes up with as well. Love me some console releases mang!

They won't announce that far in advance, if they announce anywhere in early to mid 2019 it's coming in 2019, if it's announced in late 2019 than maybe a spring 2020 release butt they aren't doing that year plus out announcement stuff anymore.

I wouldn't be shocked at $499 even though that's not a price that appeals to the mass market initially. The One X is $499 and this is coming only two or three years later with a much better CPU and likely a nearly twice as powerful GPU, more/faster memory and I'm guessing a bigger HDD as well. That stuff doesn't come cheap.
