I've been using Hulu TV for over a year now and thinking about canceling it. The service has been great but I rarely watch TV anymore. I'm probably 95% sports at this point and most of that has been with ESPN+, although with the EPL starting up this weekend I would need NBCSN and then CSN Chicago for Bulls games later this year. I already know my parents Spectrum account and use it for a few services I don't already get through Hulu, but have thought about just expanding that for the times I would need regular ESPN, FS1/2, or NBCSN.

I've also thought about just grabbing one of the individual Sling packages. I think they're only $25 and Blue has all the sports channels I'd want outside of ESPN. I'm pretty sure regular ESPN 1&2 are outside of ESPN+, but again for the few times I'd need that I could just use my parent's login lol.

Might see if my cable company has any deals as well. They have a TV Anywhere app which I would just use on my Roku vs a box. Doubt they'd be able to hook me up for less than $25 a month though. Plus they charge a bunch of extra fees on bulls*** I don't need.

We had Sling for several months until we finally cut all the way and needed local channels. Hulu TV has been solid for us, combined with Philo for the Viacom stuff like Comedy Central and the Nickelodeon/MTV/VH1 stuff (read: stuff for the boykins plus Snoop and Martha's Potluck, which we just discovered and is awesome).

I'm looking forward to Disney+, though. I know they're talking about bundling it with regular Hulu and ESPN+, but I think we've been happy enough with what we have that we'd just add Disney+ (or maybe they'll add it to Hulu live?). I'll know more about the value once college football starts up, since I think I'll actually have access to almost all of Florida's games this season after having been pretty much no-non-local service last season.

Comedy Central has a free app and nearly all of their shows are there. Downloaded it for my mom. She loves Trevor Noah.

It’s getting as bad as regular cable now with every stupid “media” provider having their own service now.

Been enjoying Prime Video this year. The Boys and Good Omen have been great, and I think I'm gonna start Man in the High Castle soon.
I have one episode of Stranger Things season 2 left. Might check out The Boys after that.

The sole reason I switched from Sling to YouTube back in October lol. Sinclair is complete cancer so it's not surprise. I think as far as streaming services go, Hulu TV is the only one that still has RSNs now. I don't mind Hulu TV but they are missing Tennis Channel, MLB Network, and NBA TV. Tennis Channel is also Sinclair but they don't mention so hopefully it remains, but I doubt it. Otherwise the two RSNs I have don't mean much to me so I'll probably just stick with YouTube for now.

Also seeing an article that Comcast may drop them as well. Good I say. Let Sinclair shoot themselves in the foot.

I have ATT Now and they have RSNs as well.

YouTube TV raising fee to $65/month LOL. Yea I'm out. Prior to this I thought it was the best deal for sports fan but no way I'm paying $65 for sports viewing which is like 95% of my time. Back to using my parent's cable login for a couple apps.

I had paused it when sports were canceled and then forgot about it so it started up again last month. Luckily I got the full cancel in right before it renewed again.

I was contemplating Youtube this summer. I wanted to see what they would do after picking up Paramount.

No thanks. I'd like to quit cable, but Youtube looks to be more of the same.

I wish I wouldn't have signed up for TV service when I got fiber installed. Pluto TV and finally getting to use YouTube has taken up most of my TV watching.

Pluto TV isn't half bad. I've watched a few things and my wife enjoys it.

The problem is getting her used to using a number of different apps for whatever she wants to watch.
