For a class assignment I need to interview someone in the tech field with 15 questions and it's due on Sunday so if someone here could help me out I would greatly appreciate it! PM me if you're interested and I will PM you back the questions. Thanks and I will close this thread once I get a reply.

Here are the questions if anyone wants to just send me a PM. It would really help me out!
What is your name? (Use a fake name if you want)
Where do you work? (Use a fake job if you like but it has to at least exist example Geek Squad etc.)
What is your position?
What are your daily responsibilities?
What are the most important skills you've obtained?
What were the qualifications for the position?
What are some ways I could become qualified besides School?
What does this job entail?
Who enjoys this type of job?
What are some other great tech jobs in the field?
What is the salary starting range for a position like this?
How much money can you make in a year in a good job?
Can you move up the job ladder with just having A.S. degrees?
What is your favorite part of the field?
How many hours a week do you work?

There must be a bunch of guys in IT around here. I'm sure you'll get a response. The only problem will be getting one in time to complete your assignment.

Ask about what credentials, certifications, degrees, and/or licenses they made have that show competence in the field of work in question. And if they are applying strictly for an IT position, I'd also ask if they have at least gotten their A+ certification. A+ certification is the basic of the basic.

By IT do you mean like an IT guy, or would a Software Developer count? I know Software Development is considered "IT" but I have a tough time calling myself an IT guy.

Yeah, I'd say there is definitely a software and a hardware side to being a true IT guy. But I would rather deal with software all day than ever look at this.

I would, but I seriously made those questions in a few minutes LOL. Tech Support classes in college are soo easy it's not even funny. I know the importance of asking good questions and having contacts but right now I'm focused purely on school. I'll let the nerdies have a few cookies ;)
