I can't answer your questions, sadly. I haven't had enough play time in this. I spend all my hours finishing up GT Sport, Forza 7, Forza Horizon 3. I wanted to get through PC2, but there was a career bug that wiped out your career. It happened to me twice. It was related to the system timing out when you left controller sit, and then go to log back in and boom it was gone. They did a work around until they could fix the bug, but that wasn't good enough for me. I have yet to go back to see if they patched it.Big bump...
So there's now an Ultimate Edition for $40 which includes the DLC. Is this worth picking up on PS4? My big question is does it have class leaderboards for hotlapping? Is this worth picking up on PS4? It is hard to find good reviews of the non-PC version. Does it have ghosts?
I'm loving Pcars 2 on PS4 but the lack of leaderboards is really annoying. Pcars 2 always seems to have that twitchiness that never fully goes away (I find constantly adjusting my wheel settings helps but that needs to be done almost per-car).
Project Cars 2 career mode is good but I'm really just looking for a hotlapper.
I know it is worth a purchase when I bought it at $16. Keep in mind, they are DONE supporting Assetto now though. They have a new game coming out that is focused on online tournaments. So the patch that Assetto received last week is the end. Thanks, I'm having a bit of love/hate with Pcars 2 right now. The career mode is really annoying. I was racing those small Ginette cars which was fun but I need to get into kart racing and I can barely control those even with a wheel.
I assume the Xbox and PS4 versions are the same. Was wondering more how the port from PC was. I've kind of wrapped up Forza and GT Sport and looking to get into something a little more "simmy".
