Avengers: Infinity Wars ***SPOILERIFFIC THREAD***

So when Strange tells Ironman that it was the only way right before he turns to dust I assume he was referring to that one single future he say where they could defeat Thanos?
I quite enjoyed it the movie over all. I’m guessing they are going to use the gauntlet to undo everything Thanos did. When is the next one out?

Yeah, assuming if they succeed the dusted ones come back, since they all may be trapped in the soul gem and not really dead. In his movie his master, I forget her name, said she could see every possible outcome but not beyond her own death. So if he died then that means he came back to life or just trapped and watching by the side lines. That and his last line to tony was “there’s no other way”

Just came back from watching this and this is what I was thinking on my way home lol...and now I am glad I watched Black Panther this week before watching War ;)

Yeah. Only watched black panther my self about a week ago. One thing that struck me, my son was really upset when Spider-Man dusted. Not in a bad way but in a dramatic hero death kind of way. It took him an hour or two after the movie ended before he had any questions about it.

Is it a coincidence that the original 6 Avengers survived and there are 6 Infinite Stones? How convenient. (Assuming Hawkeye is alive somewhere)

I expect there will be a high risk chance to undo what Thanos did, but in a spur of the moment the characters will interact directly with the stones the way Peter Quill and the Guardians did and this will certainly kill Iron Man, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Black Widow. Hulk and especially Thor stand a small chance of surviving this.

Thus the newer heroes like SpiderMan, Dr. Strange, Black Panther, and maybe others return and take over while the old Avengers die to make it happen while also undoing Thanos' massacre of half the universe.
Unless they hold hands; then it’s fine

Just saw it..
What if noone actually died at the end, but were just sent to an alternate dimension like in the leftovers?
Using the gauntlet to reverse the whole thing would make no sense to me unless the few avengers that are left are able to do what the whole squad couldn't do and that's get the gauntlet from Thanos...

What if the Gauntlet is broken so that the Infinite Stones can't work together anymore? I'm thinking a repeat of Guardians of the Galaxy moment using them directly except not everyone survives.

Any word when Disney is launching their streaming service? Will be nice to watch the entire Marvel verse from the beginning. A lot I don’t own.

Buying this day one in 4K. Anyone know if it’s keeping the IMAX ratio? Having no black bars would be sweet

I don’t want anything cropped. I want the entire frame the director and cinematographer settled on.

Well this may be a stupid question, but if it was filmed in IMAX wouldn’t that ratio be the more correct one?

It was shot with the Alexa 65 digital. Keeping that aspect ration means there will be some black at the top and bottom. That means, to fill the screen, they have to crop the left and right to have it fit 16x9. Unless it was cropped 16x9, but that almost never happens.
