Battlefield V

2019?

Bummer. Will probably wait until then, may get earlier if buddies get it.

Damn, just saw that its not even until March.

That's seriously disappointing.

I enjoyed BF1 but what I've seen of this game (honestly haven't paid attention since E3 probably) hasn't really done anything for me. The over the topness to grab Fortnite players' attention doesn't really bother me, but I would have rather had something more like BF1 for story. Plus it's a little too close to WW1 for me so I'll probably just hold out for a Vietnam game.

They are really missing the opportunity to go Bad Company, imo, but I had plenty of fun in the Beta...

For anyone confused on the various release dates for the various versions (in typical EA style they make it complicated).

Basically, Friday, Nov 9th EA Access gets it for a 10 hour trial. Nov 15th, Deluxe Edition, Nov 20th, standard.

I forgot about EA Access, will let that 10 hours decide whether to buy it

wow i am really enjoying the trial

they literally made me not miss the spotting because how much better it is to see enemies, nice job by DICE

I think i am leaning on buying this day one now

I didn't think this came out until tomorrow.

When you start the trial on EA Access does the 10 hours last in game time or from when you start the trial?

10 hours of gameplay. You can stop. Sometimes it rounds up creatively it seems though. Hard to tell as it only shows hours left. Also make sure you totally quit the game when done (not just leave it inactive).

Just as an example say you play for 30 minutes and quit, next time you play it says "9 hours left". Not sure if it rounds those minutes away or if it still keeps track. You can definitely stop though, I did that with NHL.
