The single player is a big fat miss. They have these huge maps and huge objectives, but little ammo. So you're supposed to be more stealth, but there's not really a stealth mechanic. It's just a very poorly implemented mess. There are some bright spots for sure, but in general not worth it. You spend a lot of time traversing big empty maps looking for ammo. If you blow your stealth, then you run out of ammo quick.
What's worse is you have this huge map and vehicles, but never really get to use them. The game screams rushed and half arsed.
Not only that, but apparently DICE really bastardized an big Norwegian contribution with that "heavy water" story with the female character. I thought it was just a sorta made up story, but they actually wrote the commando unit out of that story to put her and her mom in their shoes. This is the s*** that upsets me. We could have had great, real war story to play through, and they could have honored the contributions of real people who died, but they had to get their agenda in there.
Operations Grouse, Freshman, and Gunnerside, Apparently.
Here is a comment I found on a video criticizing the revisionism in the game:
" I am a Norwegian, and I had no plans to play this game because of their historical revisionism, but jesus christ I did not expect it to be this bad.
Absolutely disgusting Dice how you have destroyed one if not THE greatest Norwegian contribution to fighting the Nazis during WW2. I hope everyone educate themselves on this heroic operation and WW2 in general to make sure not to fall into this revisionist crap! Always remember there are still people in the world who believe that the Holocaust never happened, this revisionism they are pulling is the same thing! Here are to the REAL Heroes of the operation.

Makes me sick, honestly, and makes me sad I bought the game.
