We've known bend was working on a new IP for quite a while have we not? They confirmed it wasn't gonna be a sequel to Days Gone a long time ago. Is the "AAA 3rd person action game" at San Diego studio supposed to be Uncharted or is it a new IP?

Yeah, they were quite adamant that they weren’t working on a days gone sequel cos reception, some devs were quite vocal about it.

Right, I thought it was something like sony denied greenlighting a sequel after the first one didn't meet expectations or something. I wouldn't have hated a sequel, enjoyed Days Gone well enough, but if what they're doing now is more directly related to Syphon Filter I'm not too bummed either.
