I'm not in the moon to find any specific links, but I got an Insignia (Best Buy's brand IIRC) 3 years ago and it's still going strong with a nice 1080p picture.
MW Walmart have tons of tv in that price range that is very good
Also, I didn't check the recommended sets, but make sure to check the input lag first...

Yeah, input lag, refresh rates, 1080p.What's the most important thing you guys look for with buying TV's? Besides input lag, is it important to get as high refresh rate as possible? Looking to upgrade my old 1080i TV in prep for next gen.
I still have my orignal HDTV since 2007. All this talk is making me want a new one.
