Bethesda issue statement confirming Nazis are Bad, as Wolfenstein 2’s ad campaign draws flak

Gearing up for the release of Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus at the end of this month, Bethesda have stepped up the marketing for the game, including a swathe of new trailers and clips on Youtube accompanied by the #NoMoreNazis hashtag, and featuring the slogans ‘Not My America’ and 'Make America Nazi-Free Again' ...

This has upset a subset of very angry individuals, some of whom seem to be proudly flying swastika flags on social media. They are keen to impress on Bethesda that it is impolite in this day and age to suggest that violence ever be considered a valid tactic to use against people with different political views....

Bethesda marketing boss Pete Hines [stated that] the company would not be budging from its now seemingly controversial stance that Nazis are Bad.

I think it's funny that even Nazis are complaining about being treated insensitively and claiming victim status. Nazi snowflakes.

Its hilarious watching people out themselves as Nazi's/Nazi sympathizers. I hope a lot are just Russian bots cause its pretty sad.

On Twitter there are a lot of bots. Trolls don't even troll anymore, they just sent out bots.
 
The problem is the whole issue is hamfisted into oblivion. Nazis are National-Socialists. They often associate non-nazis into that particular group. I'm hardly a fan of the group, but retards like Anti-fa (ironically calling themselves anti-fascists) lump very non, and indeed anti-nazis like Ben Shapiro into that category. 'Nazi' has become a label for those they disagree with. The phrase 'punch a Nazi' comes from Anti-fa. That's why there is backlash. Antifa has been a far more violent and socially/politically destructive force than some white national retards, who, bytheway, have had plenty of demonstrations before the red-haired pototato. The difference is media coverage.

Trump, for all his faults, is not a 'Nazi', nor a sympathizer. Linking him to it is childish, one-dimensional political pandering. It's infiltrated everything, and it's f***ing annying.

I don't see the relevance. Wolfenstein has legit Nazis so the only people who could be offended by that are also legit Nazis..

Bethesda is clearly taking aim at Trump and his supporters by referring to Trump's campaign slogans and associating them with Nazis. Very clever to try to force Trump supporters to either defend Nazis or disavow Trump's slogans.

Bethesda should go a step further and directly associate with Antifa and either donate a large amount to the organization or sponsor a march.
 
Really now. Between Wolfenstein 2 and Far Cry 5 i'm not sure the snowflake world can handle all the madness coming their way. Then you got Rocket Man, Kim Jong Un or whatever threatening a nuclear holocaust but nobody bats an eye.
 
Nazi's may be terrible, but man... Their tailoring was impeccable. I mean, there has to be a reason why everyone loves the Nazi boy in the Sound of Music, and not that slutty Von Trapp girl turning 16.

Look, what those enemies in Wolfenstein do, there are some bad hombres there, but there are also some good people there too.
