Ahh the whole Nintendo and Sony trick of side stepping the actual numbers. It must have not sold as many and the ps4 since they didnt release a real number or else they would have for sure, reminds me of the Nintendo family, Sony brand from ndp press releases

Yeah, no. I think youll be surprised at how many they've sold.
 
So you really think if MS had sold more than Sony they wouldnt be telling the number? Come on now be honest

Only people who give a s*** about things like that are the companies themselves and console warriors for their E Peen comparisons. Unless someone bought actual stock in these companies themselves i don't see why else we should care. Maybe i'm too old fashioned , we did'nt have npd threads in the 8 and 16 bit says. We didn't give a s***.

I personally do not care about who sells more, just pointing it out. I read the ndp threads on neogaf for the meltdowns and the companies who do not claim top spot always pull this tactic. Just because I have two Xbox Ones(each of my kids) in my house doesnt mean I have to be biased

I dont think Microsoft cares about the r******d-nesum of the console wars to begin with seeing as they are still trying to meet demand mate. But I think the XO is a hot item and is selling quite well. Again, I think many will be surprised at just how many XO's have sold thusfar. Hell, the lot of you who thought it would sell upwards of around 300K during release have been eating eating crow ever since. You sure you want to bet against that XO again?
 
That is a long winded way to not answer the question directly. You may be right, I may be right who knows but imo I think they would be touting the number if they outdid their competition.

Why would they worry about appeasing the console wars when the box is selling in droves mate? They'll get around to it eventually... Chillax about it.
 
So I suppose all the numerous times when they were top selling and released numbers it was different? It is obvious we have different opinions so this conversation will go in circles

That's PR's job. Don't expect them to give numbers that make them look bad, goes for any company. Yes it's pretty obvious they're side stepping sales numbers like they're now side stepping or BSing the hardware gap.

But since this thread has nothing to do with sales, you're just going to get people attacking you for bringing it up.

You know MS releases these type of stats pretty often? A few publishers do.

MS have already announced one set of figures and will probably again soon enough be it black Friday or Christmas numbers.

What i said is in general and has nothing to do with whether or not you're "biased" it's just the truth, only people that really give a damn about sales on forums are fanboys looking for bullet points in their dick waving contests. Fact is both consoles are doing well and people should be glad for that. God forbid any of them were to do as badly as the WiiU currently is.
 
The Xbox One is showing it is the go to gaming console this gen, again.
