Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

I like where it's at personally, but wouldn't mind a higher base health.

The ABR is my fav weapon in Blackout, by far. Can't stand it in regular MP lol.

Got a 10 kill round yesterday, with all of them in the final circles. Clutched a 1v6 in the last minute. Set it to record the last 5 minutes and it record NOTHING. Salty.

Just seems like some peole take more shots than others. Hell I can have lvl 2 armor and get taken out quick with no headshot.

Tick rate? Eh.

So much bitching and moaning from everyone. There's some lag here and there like most games. Everyone is blowing it out of proportion.

Tick rate, lag when someone joins or leaves the party, a bug on the X that makes the gamestate worse and worse over time...yeah, totally blowing it out of proportion. This game was rushed to release and in its current state is not fun to play. BFV soon.

It's pretty obvious that Xbox was not a priority for them.

A game that is MP only should not have these kinds of issues. A gamer with Wireshark shouldn't be finding issues that never should have made it past testing.

I’ve come to terms years ago that COD’s MP will never run as smooth online as other big MP games. The price we pay for enjoying this s***.

Definitely blowing it out of proportion.

Occasional lag is definitely there. It can be annoying, like it has been in many games. And the game made some questionable design choices. Plenty of reasons to decide the game isn't fun, or your type of game. I personally find the multiplayer to be average. Enjoyable, but limited by maps too small and narrow.

But it's the tickrate that ruined the game for you? LOL. I used to cry lag every game back in high school, and some games were admittedly laggy, but I've grown past that.

And yes BFV looks great. The beta was fun. I hope the BR mode is good. BF has always suffered from being too big. The matches are fun, but you never really matter. And winning or losing never really means anything. BC2 struck a good balance, but I don't think BF is going back to that level of simplicity anytime soon.

When something doesn't go your way in Black Ops 4:

On a related note, apparently its 30Hz now. Haven't tested it myself, been stuck on Blackout.

Pretty sure it was 60 from what Reddit people said. That runs like a literal slide show sometimes but I think that is just straight lag. Once half the people are dead it gets better.

The Blackout Beta was 10hz at the start of the match. After a percentage of players died, it would bump up to 20hz.

Fortnite and PUBG are 30hz. From what I understand, it's difficult going any higher than that due to the map size/player count. I assume Blackout will be at 30hz sooner rather than later, if it isn't there yet.

Important to note, there was absolutely zero complaining about Blackouts performance during the beta. It received overwhelmingly positive impressions. We learned about the 10hz tick rate only after the beta ended.

Translation: Gamers like to complain.

Yeah the Blackout beta ran good for me even In quads. I played quads a couple hours last night with friends and while we did experience occasional lag in the open minutes of a match it ran fine the rest of the time.

I also played some regular MP for awhile last night with a full group. It ran great with no lag for the 3 hours we played and we won every match. I’m digging the reg MP.

Been running great for me too.

Quads in the beta was a mess though, on xbox at least.

Quads always runs like s*** for my group. We've all had it run exactly like this on multiple occasions.

Yep, that's the stutter right there. Haven't had it the last couple of nights, but that's exactly what I experienced before. It's atrocious.

Has anyone been getting disconnected during a match in Blackout? Happened a couple times lately. Annoying.

Played a lot tonight, no disconnects. Quads was mostly fine, some stuttering here and there.

Really getting it down too. Won 10 games, and a few second place finishes. I've been severely undervalueing the trophy system, three of those dinners wouldn't have been possible without it.

I never snipe, but I tried the paladdin, sbn (sp?), and koshka a bit. Still prefer the ABR for constant damage/suppression, but its crazy satisfying to headshot someone and instantly down them.

Had 2 or 3 disconnects today, not in Blackout though.

Just can't get into Blackout, find it a real bore.

Blackout, for me, is all about the people I play with.

Could never do a battle royale playing solo. Even with all my hours in PUBG (and Blackout lately), I usually avoid solo.

This x10

Still encountering massive amounts of stutter and lag in Quads and it's unbelievably frustrating. Might have to shelve until I finish Red Dead. Maybe they will have it sorted out by then.

No interest in Blackout solo either, but quads was definitely fun. Group I play with has 6 people so would be nice to get larger group sizes as well so we could all play. Maybe like 10v10v10 etc
