Call Of Duty: WWII

For once I play objectives in a CoD game..... War mode.

Now I know how all you objectives guy feel as half the team sucks and doesn't do shyt except stand at the back of the map sniping.

The mode doesn't even track k/d, and even as a k/d whore I gun for the objectives. Where the fuk are all the guys helping to escort the tank, grab a gas can or build the bridge.

I guess my sanity was held in check all these years playing TDM. At least the dude at the back of the map getting kills is helping reach the goal.

It drives me insane when I play War mode in this game. People just sit back and enjoy losing. Like you said K/D doesn’t even matter. I’m left getting the objectives or defending them my self sometimes.

But yeah, who doesn't remember playing Unreal and server searching for the ones with the lowest ping. And it worked. The better the ping, the better the game played.

Find a server at 1000 ping and it was fine. Dabble with one at 4000 ping and moved like crap.

I long for the days I can leave my Xbox on so friends can use it as a server like in Unreal. Those were the days.....
 
I remember back in the 90s having a.... *ahem* "dev" server at work that may have hosted some game servers. We'd get a bunch of guys playing and our ping would be essentially zero. Meanwhile people were still on dial up and getting wrecked. Talk about unfair... there was no lag comp back then and people got by.

The issue I have with CoD: WW2 is that it feels like a step backwards rather than a step forwards.

I didn't like the bouncing off walls etc from the recent games but I also don't want to go back to the boring old WW2 setting again... I mean, they haven't even tried to make the setting any different; They have the same old storming the beaches blah blah blah.

Also... I am so sick of lootcrates and ingame currencies.

I hope that next year something new and exciting will come out of Call of Duty. Please, give me a reason to be able to play this game again!

Welcome to the Union forums! How did you find us??? Oh, and don't mind Plainview. He will have his good days and his PMS days. We still love him for all his shortcomings :)
 
This game is just okay. Low amount of maps, most of them being poor, weird create a class system, etc, all hold this game back from being great.
 
I am enjoying it, though I wish it had like 3 more maps in the rotation. It's far better than the jet pack wall running COD's we have had.

I rented it when it first released. The MP was fun, though, the SP campaign was a slog. The first COD campaign that I didn't finish
 
Played this morning for the first time in a couple months. The game runs great now and everything (including HQ) works the way it should. Too bad it took them a couple months to get it here. I can finally do well and have fun playing it. Will definitely put this back in my MP rotation.

Very impressed by the One X enhancements on this game. Played MP last night and this morning (it’s double XP everything weekend) and I’m doing a lot better. Will try the SP soon and see how that looks.
