Call Of Duty: WWII

Has the developers ever came out and said we have dedicated servers?

Ever COD since BO2 I've still seen connection issues, host advantage, one match it takes more bullets than others to put people down, bullet sponge enemies, etc....

Ive seen far less in BF games on their servers.

And host migration.

There's no way CoD has totally dedicated servers. It's way better than the old P2P days where a host quitting kills the entire lobby, but last time played CoD (not Infinite Warfare), I remember host migration.

The one thing that has improved a lot is the host migration doesn't happen a lot, and it works well. The old CoD games had host migration barely working. it might say "migrating hosts......", but it would still bomb out 99% of the time.

Stream this Tuesday answering questions from the community. Hopefully they won't be as stupid as the ones they picked out for the reveal stream.

Still waiting on your proof that COD has had dedicated servers since BO2. I call BS.

My dude, I already said it was a video, some dude did some tests, pinging the IP addresses that hit his 360, and they came back as dedicated servers. You don't believe me, fine, that's your issue. I have a track record of being 100% correct about COD since TeamXBOX.

Even if there are dedicated servers, there's still lag compensation. That's the problem.

Way back when, you had your ping to the dedicated server. The worse your ping, the more problems you had. So, the solution was simple - get a better connection.

Now though we don't do that. You pay for a top tier connection, while your opponent is on a poor connection. The game sees this and tries to "make it fair" so the hit detection tries to accommodate for some of his shots not registering.

So you're making assumptions, have no proof, and you're wrong, got it. Maybe one day COD will get real dedicated servers.

Fine, I'll go to the website for you, you lazy bastard.

So because a guy that lives in his moms basement says so it must be real. Coming from a guy that still lives with his parents I see why you believe it. Have the developers or Activision ever said they have dedicated servers?

I haven;t played BO2 is a while (played it back in the day, and a little bit when it came BC), but I'm pretty sure I've seen a small bit of host migration. Not a lot though, But I remember it. So there's got to be some kind of small amount of P2P in there.

CoD WWII Livestream.

Who knows how much actual gaming they will show. It just started and they are chatting with the actors. No gaming stuff yet..... I'm hoping they actually show some?!?!?!

A 100% waste of time. If you didn't see it, don't bother watching a replay. It was a half hour interviewing actors and asking about mo-cap, animations and scripts, along with heart pounding 100 mph fastball questions:

"what are you most proud of making the game?"
"do you think the game is authentic?"

Zero gaming footage and info, aside from the director saying Battle of the Bulge mission will be in the game.

Thanks for the info man.

CX could learn something.

I'm sick of all these world war games. When can we get some sci-Fi action ?
