Seems like those pictures are done with "touch-up"/photoshop to make images look smoother and sharper. I like that. Wish I could live 60 or 90 years ago because the culture and everything are so different than today. Very interesting.

In fact he had a small cameo as a little girl's grandfather in the pre credit scene in a SVU ep before he passed it was kinda cool having him talk to his real life daughter on the show.
