Seems like those pictures are done with "touch-up"/photoshop to make images look smoother and sharper. I like that. Wish I could live 60 or 90 years ago because the culture and everything are so different than today. Very interesting. :)

It's like bringing the past to the future. Like having a movie today being made to portray the 1940s. It looks crazy good.
 
In fact he had a small cameo as a little girl's grandfather in the pre credit scene in a SVU ep before he passed it was kinda cool having him talk to his real life daughter on the show.
