Console Next Gen gaming is weeks away so what AV setup are you using?

I have everything hooked up 2 it :)

Having your PC on a big screen (aka HTPC) is really under-rated big time.

All these gadgets that get marketed.

You can do whatever you want if you hook up a PC to your TV. Anything.

Not sure how it gets along with plasma but my TV is an awesome big screen monitor and all around-er.

For the consoles in the living room:
TV: 65" Panasonic VT60 3d plasma
Receiver: Sony STR-DN1040
Speakers: JBL SCS300.7 (7.1 configuration)

For the gaming pc in the other room:
Monitor: Dell U3014 (16:10 30" IPS 2560x1600)
Sound: Older logitech 7.1 speakers (using creative 7.1 sound card)

Side note: I'm waiting for 4k to become more mainstream before upgrading the tv again, and at the same time will probably get a dolby atmos enabled receiver. I already purchased 4 additional exact matching speakers to go with my scs300.7, so i should be all set for the front/rear height channels that dolby atmos provides. The receivers that support full 11 channel sound (7 regular, 4 height) are pretty expensive at this stage, so I'll wait that out.

Update: I set up the Playstation 4 in my games room/2nd spare room yesterday, haven't had much time on it been busy but it's a fantastic bit of kit. I thought I had a problem with the HDMI port at first because I didn't get any picture but it turns out the console just didn't like my HDMI switch for whatever reason, once I plugged it in to the TV's spare HDMI port it was fine.

If you look at my previous set up in this thread you'd see speakers for surround sound on top of the unit, not anymore although they still exist but are now deployed behind the unit.

Following on from the above (my games room\man cave) I went out and added a second Xbox One to the collection alongside a Vizeo P Series 70inch UHD television in the second room downstairs (and a Wii U).

Once again excuse the picture taken from the Iphone 5.

I'll take a picture of my new setup. Added a PS4, X1 and a new 60 in LED TV to replace my intermittently broken 50 in plasma. I also got new mounts for the rear bookshelfs. I have posted my setup in the rigs setup before in another thread. First I gotta clean up the theater room :p

Living Room
50" Phillips Plasma TV with ambient light (@8 years old, only has one HDMI input)
Onkyo 7.0 Surround Sound System (very rarely used)
Xbox 360 hooked up via component cables, optical audio out to surround sound
Computer hooked up to TV via DVI to component converter, no sound hooked up (s*** Dell computer)
Verizon Fios cable box hooked up via HDMI

Family Room
32" Sony Plasma TV (not sure how old, was given to us for free)
Xbox One (HDMI)
Playstation 3 (component cables)
Fios 2nd Box (HDMI pass through the Xbox One)

Such a shame to have my Xbox One on the downstairs TV but its where I go to play at night when the baby goes to sleep.

2 Polk Audio floor standing speakers with 6 1/2 mids. Can't remember the modem number
2 Pioneer andrew jones bookshelf rear speakers, 5 1/2 mids. Can't remember the modem number
