If this does not let you party up with friends either in Co-op that will be even more ridiculous.
It's more like having to render that much for so many people concurrently doesn't work well outside of a controlled environment. It is a shame though. The tech obviously DID work- just too much for current tech on a large scale. It IS pretty irritating that the way the destruction and environments look is just so... not unique. The underlying tech looks the same, but it's pared way back and less granular.
EDIT: just got to the part where the building falls on another and it bounces off... I'm sorry, this looks bad. Hopefully that was a fluke? yikes. Glad I have gamepass, I guess....
it is all fairness on his video and everything that he said is what I have expected. This is such a great "independent" review! Loved it and sounds fair.
Dude, I dont know where the hell you're getting your information from, but it sounds like it's squirted from the backside of a Rhino. The tech works, and phenomenally well in Wrecking Zone. No, its not what it was but, that was due to the devs having to scale back on some of the destruction because too much if it proved as a barricade to the actual gameplay which wasnt fun. What's there is the most impressive destruction of any generation - hands down. It’s a different dev that put it together. Apparently Microsoft didn’t own the tech CloudGen demoed in 2015. They kept none of it when CouldGen left for Epic. What’s there today doesn’t look like the 2015 demo because the people who made the 2015 demo took their ball and went elsewhere.
Incompetent management. Team demoing tech with their IP that Microsoft neither owned nor understood. Probably too costly in terms of cloud resources on top of different physics engine altogether. Now they’re paying the price.
Gameplay looked way better in that review and I like most of what he said. Keeping the preorder I suppose.it is all fairness on his video and everything that he said is what I have expected.
Tech test is actually blowing up! People are praising the hell out of it, actually. Ive seen a couple of podcasts already saying "IGN lied". And from my experience, Wrecking Zone is baller AF!Yeah the campaign is being praised. The tech test not so much.
I wanted it for the campaign.

Yeah, I saw this as well. ResetEra guys have been surprisingly positive overall. Quite unexpected.

The destuction also plays an integral part of the gameplay. It's not just there for bombastic, spectacle. It actually serves the games play in numerous ways that havent been explored in any MP to date and will probably expand when it releases.
You're being the very definition of an armchair developer - which is another way of saying, you dont know what youre talking about. Why not do a bit of research before you go off spouting off guesses as to what happened with the tech. Or better yet, just play the game yourself - dont worry about the parts of development (which would be all of it) that dont concern you. Jesus...
Somebody watched Ace Ventura 2 recently.Dude, I dont know where the hell you're getting your information from, but it sounds like it's squirted from the backside of a Rhino.
