Who has this kind of time on their hands? I applaud some crazy talent by whoever made this but isn't Cuphead a hand-drawn game? (Which I don't fully comprehend how it is translated into code). So I am taking this is a fan who made Cuphead fan art by drawing with using the old gaming pixel style.
Have I interpreted this correct? I will say it takes some unique vision for pixel placement/coloring/shading to make it pop like this when shrunk down.
I mean, if animated on paper, all you need to do is scan it in and cut it out via photoshop or after effect to get the preferred file format. Even easier when it's done on the PC, and if you're savvy with the program, you can produce similar looking results with the right brushes, filters, and colors. As for who has the time for this, people who do it professionally.
That was my reaction when I watched the vid. I mean, cool, but why? I can understand trying to recreate a photo, painting, etc., in pixel art, but Cuphead?
How about just release the stinking' game first before anyone goes paying homage to it?
I haven't lost interest in Cuphead at all, I just wish they hadn't annnounced it so soon in development. It's looking like and E3 release, or close to it.

It better. This is turning into a TLG fiasco and it's a game about a damn cup. Release it already.

Funny...my boy and I beat Metal Slug X the other day at our local vintage video arcade. Such fun! If Cuphead has that feel then it will be fantastic!
