I completely forgot this game was a thing, but I'm looking forward to it!

One thing I want them to completely ditch, is the sound of that effing whip. So jarring.

Still have my fingers crossed for this one:

Looks ok. I like the environment, but I hate her hair. The monster wasn't very scary. Didn't have much weight to it. I'm still Luke warm on it, but it's looking better.

Yeah I loved the first one especially, and I want this to be good...but right now it still looks a little generic.

The female protagonist thing is getting a bit overdone. It was cool at first, "hey let's make every fvcking game have a female lead, we'll show 'em!" Now it just seems blown out of proportion. Dat payback!

Yeah. It’s feeling a little played but it wouldn’t turn me off this.

This is how you drive a studio and/or publisher into the ground.

God of War looks so much better than this. If your budget is a fraction that of the market leader, you have to do something different.

Game might still end up being good. I just don't have much hope for it being successful.

Fury is a female character already. It makes sense to have one of the other horsemen lead this game. I'm much more concerned with it being safe and thus generic. It's not an inclusion for the sake of it which I would have an issue with.

There are plenty of dude leads still out there.

Eh. Looks ok to me. TBH im more shocked at THQ Nordics aggressive expansion.

Yeah, I remember that about Fury, it just seems overdone with devs trying to be edgy and different when it ends up look just as(or more) generic than some dudebro. The character design, in general, is just bad imo too. Yeah and if she has some type of bow and arrow it'll be funny.

Which is kinda a hilarious since bows take a lot of strength to use effectively (armor piercing bows were had around 110-120 lb pulls) and aren't all that nimble, and the average sword/axe weighed ~2 lbs.

I am looking forward to this game. I have been looking for a fun hack & slash game since Ninja Gaiden. GOW PS4 is nice, but it always feels restrictive in movement & freedom.

Well Spider-man does it for me, to be fair, now I am aching for more. Darksider 3 will be released on Nov 27.

After watching a few video reviews, I decided to pass up this game.
I don’t understand changing proven formula & make it dark soul wannabe. No one asked for it.
Hard and far apart checkpoints are poor design ( except for dark soul maybe). Most games got it right by allow multiple saves and start you near where you left of if you die (like begin of a hard Plattformen) or begin of boss fight.

Also the exploration and puzzle are uninspiring.

Now I need to look for an other game to fill my 2 week sick leave.

The game just seems so uninspired. I bet its just a cash grab to stir up old fans of the series. Reviews are not looking good.

I would strongly consider getting this if it weren’t for the technical issues. That’s a no go

Darksider 3 is the diablo 3 of Darksider.
Darksider 2 add upon Darksider 1, then in Darksider 3, remove them & change to Darksoul wannbe for seek of being 'diffferent'.

Yes, which is exactly the problem. I won't play Darksoul game, but if others like, good for them. Its a wannabe (The director said it himself. ) that failed where dark souls succeeded.

That was not my point. My point was that most games with difficult combat get compared to Dark Souls. And I don’t believe for a second that this comparison is apt when it comes to this game.

Interesting. The amount of technical problems is a strange. I played 1 & 2 and really enjoyed both and don’t remember any significant glitches or problems like that. Did they change the game engine? This will be a bargain bin pick up for me.

A bought the game but haven't had time to play it yet with my backlog. Kinda just bought it now to support the devs in hopes of Darksiders 4.

The reviews are all over the place but realistically the metacritic average is right about where I thought it would be.

Personally, I'll hold my judgement until I actually play it because reviews this gen for some reason have been hit or miss for me. Low scoring games have been a blast ( State of Decay 2) while high scoring games have been meh ( Divinity: Original Sin 2)

Yeah I tend to find reviewers very out of touch now days or they give some games a pass for faults.

But as I said I need to finish the first 2
